    good price boss.

two questions (cannot find answer anywhere on official webpage

    1. Does this work on microwave or infrared?
    2. One feature Eufy push is google/alexa integration, eg alexa, light up my driveway - once activated, does it stay on until you say otherwise, or does it act as if the motion sensor just triggered and turn off after pre-defined time?
      1. I have no idea what you mean.
      2. I have not tested it on google/alexa, however, i have order an Echo Show from amazon, which will come in couple of days. I will post the integration later. PS: as for now, i just receive alert from phone and check it out right away.

      Hope it helps :)

      • infrared triggers on any movement (eg trees), microwave only triggers on heat (people)

        • I am not sure but i feel its trigger by movement.

          • @iamyour: Dang :(

I got too many trees at mine.
My sensor lights get triggered all the time.

@Jimothy Wongingtons: From JB HiFi description:
              Detect, Record, and Alert
Customize the area in which you want detection to take place. When an event is identified, the footage will be recorded and an instant alert will be sent.

Might help you with the trees. For the camera at least.

If it is the same as the cameras, it's infrared but the Eufy app has an option to trigger only if "human" is detected or "all movements" but I believe this is done by the AI, not the sensor itself.

      Does it need pads?

  • Hi, does this come with a power plug to plug into socket or does this need an electrician to wire up. Thank.

      needs a lecky.

      Installation requires a licensed Electrican

    • Every review I’ve seen, which haven’t been for AU, actually show it coming with an AC cable connected for initial setup purposes to make life easier if you are mounting it high up. Isn’t intended for ongoing use, but perhaps the cable could be sheethed and used over a standard AC plug.

Unsure if that AC plug ships with AU ones however.

    • I am replacing both of the existing spotlight at my place without an electrician. The handbook explain it really well. It also ask you to turn off the electricity from the power board.

  • thanks OP. Good price. Hope it's better than the Ring Floodlight

Bought it for similar price last Black Friday. Installation through an electrician. Works with movement & can view the camera on echo show. Bright lights. Mobile alert on detecting movement. Impressed with it so far.

    • Does it also connect into a home base if I have 2C cam set?

      • Yes, it connects to the home base of my Eufycam.

  • I didn't think they were all that popular…was the same price at Supercheap with 20% off storewide over the click frenzy days.

    • For me personally, I like it as it has spotlight. I use it to replace both of mu spotlight at the entrance of my garage and backyard. I will still buy the 2c for covering the rest if the property.
