Dukes Espresso Blend Coffee 250g & Hunted+Gathered Chocolate (45g) $12.80 + Delivery (Free for Some VIC) @ Dukes Coffee Roasters

180

$12.80 for 250g beans delivered was enough for me - the Hunted+Gathered website seems to suggest 45g is their standard size which is $7.50.

1kg is also 20% off at $46.40.

From the Dukes page:

For a limited time only, get 20% off our Dukes Espresso Blend and receive a complimentary block of Hunted + Gathered 70% cacao chocolate, thanks to Bank of Melbourne.*

Our staple blend since 2008, the Dukes Espresso is the blend you are likely to taste when you walk into any specialty coffee venue serving Dukes Coffee.

It is a strong blend that’s consistent year-round in its complexity, balance, body and flavour profile. It is sweet, versatile and complex, designed to be enjoyed black and with milk. This blend is perfect for home or office use and is suitable for use through an espresso machine or a stovetop brewer.

*One block of chocolate will be provided per order. Offer available from Monday 18th May to Sunday 7th June 2020.

Really impressed by this blend which I ordered when it last appeared here at a substantial discount back in March. More than happy to order it again despite the discount being less than previous.

Edit- can't get free delivery outside of Vic? Deal breaker.

    • yeah no free delivery here either, in Sydney. The website does say "free local delivery within the Melbourne metro area"

  • I ordered but it wasn’t free delivery for me. Still not a bad price.

  • free delivery for Melbourne only though

  • I'm in Melbourne and it still charged delivery

  • Good deal, better if you are in the free delivery zone.

    Tried a few postcodes that has free delivery: 3000, 3001-3006, 3010, 3040.

  • Ahh sorry, that is annoying! I didn't see that as it just said "Free Delivery" when I ordered - sorry for those outside Vic Metro - updated title

  • Delivery works in Melbourne Metro

  • Here are the Melbourne suburbs that have free delivery, it's mainly inner-city suburbs: https://www.dukescoffee.com.au/local-delivery/

  • Ordered last night at about 9pm and delivered at about midday today. Decent turnaround for those in the local area.

    • Hi @swimmingtoad,

Can you please advise what's the roast date on the coffee you got delivered?

        20/5

        • How's the chocolate? :)

($7.5 for a 45g bar is pretty steep to me!)

@caprimulgus: Haven't tasted it yet, but it is one of the Dominican Republic ones repackaged.

@caprimulgus: I’m no chocolate expert but I thought it tasted pretty decent but 45g didn’t last long ;)

      • Mine was delivered by Dukes the next day also, roast date was 22/5

  • also. did you get any tracking or notifications?

    • No, the confirmation email noted that deliver was 'Dukes local delivery' so i assume they deliver themselves within the free radius.

  • No more stock :)

"Sorry, we do not have enough "Dukes Espresso Blend x Bank of Melbourne - 1kg" in stock to fulfill your order (0 available). We apologize for any inconvenience caused."

  • Roasted 27/5, delivered 28/5. Very happy.

I wonder if these were samples for the Good Food and Wine Show that they decided to repurpose for this due to COVID.

These definitely are samples / giveaways intended for the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival (Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, not a Good Food and Wine Show), which is sponsored by Bank of Melbourne.

They’re dumping all the stock, cause the festival was pivoted online due to covid.
