  • Would these be good for a Synology DS918+?

    • -8

No? Shuck a big WD White. Not sure why you'd want this in a NAS..

      • +3

I think OP is asking RE: ssd cache, of which the 918+ supports.

    • Wherever I've looked up RE: ssd caching on a NAS I've found that it's been little to no performance improvement for the average user.

Save your cash or put it in your PC instead. :)

  • Why so cheap considering the exchange rate currently?

      • +17

The AUDUSD has bounced back to pre-covid levels… I don't know why everyone keeps going on about this.

  • unfortunately, the M.2 slot has been occupied by 960…

  • Please excuse my ignorance but cash back, is that via cashrewards?

    Ozbargained! No stock left!

    • Should be, I just ordered one. Thanks OP!

  • It's a good deal comparing to Mwave and Scorptech.

  • Looks like it's sold out. When I add one to my cart then go to the checkout it tells me they don't have enough and to change the number.

    • I just got one

      • Thanks, I tried again and it worked. They must have updated it on their end.

    • Maybe try a different browser, I still have no problem getting up to checkout page

      • I did try in two browsers and got the same thing. But it worked when I tried again after getting these replies saying it's working.

        • looks like they have updated their dispatching condition from within 24 hours to: Dispatch from warehouse in 3-5 working days

  • Bought one, thanks OP.

  • Can anyone recommend a NVME enclosure for this to use as a portable drive?

  • How is this compared with Samsung Evo 970 Plus?

      Samsung Evo 970 Plus
      Read Speed (MB/s):
      3500MB/s

      Write Speed (MB/s):

does this fit into a dell latitude 7480?

  • I have a 500gb P1 already but not sure if I need another 500 or 1tb for second m.2. Looking to store a handfull of AAA games and not have to delete.

  • Fantastic deal but 500GB is not enough for me.

The 1TB equivalent is more than double the price. Why Shopping Express… Why???

    • +3

Because production doesn't scale linearly. Yields diminish so to get double storage you need to pay more than double.

Still waiting for the WD SN750, really tempting to get this as well O_o

it was $126.85 inc delivery to AU from Amazon US about a week ago..

  • $95.50 for a 500GB NVMe drive, pretty good price. (Considering the $30 eGiftCard can be purchased with 5% off, it is more $28.50 back).

  • Is this worth getting over Samsung 860 Evo 500GB 2.5" SATA III 6GB/s V-NAND SSD MZ-76E500BW? Tempting to buy

    • +1

      They are completely different…

  • I was charged $125.24 via visa card.

    • +1

1% fee for CC or PP. Direct Deposit would have avoided the fee.

    • Apparently you avoid the fee with Zip too.

  • doh! missed it

      Username checks out…

  • I bought one and that one died in 2 weeks. Didn't lose much data. I think it is a manufacturing issue. It is the right price and to get more people to buy those problem ssd by giving out gift card for the trouble in creating RMA

    • How did they go about giving you warranty service? They have a pretty long manufacture warranty but hoping the process isn't difficult in case mine goes wrong.

      • +1

The warranty process is slow compare to WD. But it is good that they replaced the drive without asking too much.
