  • title says 3pc link provided is 2pc

Maybe the charger is the 3rd piece bruv

      • They refer to this as 1 piece. So maybe they just count skins.

  • +1

Charger makes it 3 piece maybe?

  • Its a 2 piece kit - the link even says so - you may want to update your title

  • +2

    give it back

    • +1

      It's mine not yours!

  • How is Makita compare with Dewalt

    • +1

Makita is way better and have a huge list of skins.
I already have the $150 Bosch kit Which I purchased recently.

      • +1

That is your opinion. I have both brands and I'm happier with DeWalt

    • +2

They're pretty similar. I'm personally invested in the Makita gear and like it a lot, but you can't go wrong either way.

    • -2

Rarely any trades use Dewalt. That should answer your question

    • +1

      Go the Makita for sure.

    • Milwaukee > Dewalt > Makita.

      • -2

        Milwaukee is Ryobi…

        • +5

Aldi > Ozito > everything else

        • +4

          Mini is not BMW.

    • +2

Just buy the one that is best value. Also consider the other skins available (gardening tools, etc)

Ryobi leads it in the skins dept, but they aint no Makita.

      • +2

Ryobi truly isn't that bad. There pretty good with a huge range and much better spec then the ozitos imo

Same price but with free delivery here,

Also be aware this kit only includes the standard charger which is a lot slower charging vs the rapid charger. It takes about 3 times longer to charge.

    • Coming up as $299 for me

      • +2

Oops, my mistake, misread the op's title, damned dyslexia, lol.

  • Great price, brushless and 5 amp. Probably cause of totaltools blitz today.

  • Only one battery kinda kills the convenience factor of the kit. Might suck a few people into spending up big for an extra branded battery I suppose.

  • Given the price of a 5Ah Makita battery from Bunnings is $149 alone, the extra $130 for brushless drill/driver and charger is descent. Perhaps we are just getting ripped off every day of the week on batteries.

  • Noticed yesterday that the Bunnings URL no longer exists nor is the combo set listed on their website. So, popped over to Bunnings Lidcombe NSW today and picked one up. They still have 4 or so boxes of this set on the shelves.

New to the whole power tools thing, any recommendations for a case to store these in?

    • I noticed that too. Picked up a set today at West Footscray Bunnings, only 3 left. Last week there was 6-7.

Looking for a case too, if you pick one up, please do tell.
