GTxtreme v2 Racing Simulator + Fanatec GT3 v2 package - regular price $1348 — SALE PRICE $1149

In terms of the sample bargain I've headlined this post with, I paid well over $1400 for an almost identical rig (http://clubduh.com/blog/2010/12/31/gt5-heaven/) less than 12 months ago. Not only a good buy, but Hess (the owner) is a great bloke to deal with.

not a good deal. they are over charging by over $100.

you can get the cockpit delivered in AU for $649 and the G27 for $385 = 1034 (compared to $1149)

      Apples and oranges.

The plasticy Logitech G27 is NOT a Fanatec 911 GT3 V2 Wheel with Fanatec Clubsport Pedals. The aluminum pedals ALONE are worth >$300 and the shifter kit ~$90.00

      Try again.

  • i could not fathem paying that much for a steeringwheel and seat…

Neither could I. And then I did ;-) So pleased I didn't go down the Logitech path.

  • nvm.

    • Just buy the cockpit on its own if you have the wheel/pedal hardware (eg http://www.pagnianimports.com.au/index.php/racing-simulator-…). That said, if you could split the package deal with someone, you'd probably both end up saving a few dollars.

    • LOL! I replied before your edit ;-p

  • The APIGA AP1 is a better rig IMO

    • Never heard of these guys before, but the AP1 looks great.

I sent an enquiry to the oz email address, but what did it cost you?

I see you already have one. How is it? Some reviews seem to indicate it can be wobbly/not sturdy.

You can get a real car for this price.

  • Good deal even for the wheels without the rig.

And does anyone have any idea if they'll be getting in the fanatec csr wheels when forza comes out?

  • lol, $1000+ to play a $30 racing sim (GT5)

    And to think I felt like a goose buying a G27 :)

  • I doubt too many ozbargainers would be buying this. It doesn't fit in the deals page, just like that group buy car deal a few months ago
