    Interesting how it can seamlessly connect two computers as one. I thought that would be more a Windows 10 feature than something hardware implemented…

      it's actually software-based via the Bezel X program you install on windows and mac.

      I have the 3342 model and it works great. I mainly use it for switching my peripherals though so I don't have to keep plugging them in and out of other windows machines. It was becoming a pain to switch my audio dac constantly when I moved between my 2 computers.

      if you want to have this 'switching' (without having both computers switched on) you'll need to purchase a separate PD USB-C charger as I have 2 PC's connected and not laptops. The PD is a bonus to charge if you have laptops or peripherals that draw power and charging devices. I daisy-chain hard drives, wired mice, and my DAC to be available to other machines… and yes it truly is 10Gbps usb 3.2. Unfortunately most of my usb3 hard drives are not 10Gbps capable. USB4 coming out soon either this year or next and is a quantum leap over 10Gbps into 40Gbps territory. So i'm fine with my ATEN being just a plain switch into the future.

      Although I must say the included remote switch is a bit bulky/plastic and flimsy. I'm worried it'll break one day and there are no replacement accessories to purchase for those switching remotes.

      download it from ATEN website. Didn't come included with the hardware.
