    Still no love for electronics.

    Give us video games, Amazon!

  • Quick question for the experts: what would workout supplements/powders come under? Sport? Or something else? Any way to tell? (Ie https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07FX6MHGG?pf_rd_r=4EJ9… )

Personal health care, 0% in this case. You can tell by following the bread crumb in the category.

  • Still waiting to pull the trigger on A PC refurb.. grrrrrr

  • I wonder why Tools is omitted from the cashback

Lovely how all the big companies eg Coles and Woolies no catalogs specials during worst stage of the pandemic . Looked after all their loyal customers .
Amazon still continues with the most of the heavy demand categories at 0 !
For me the pathetic discount Amazon egift card monthly limits doesn't help much : (

Same question I had for the Cash Rewards offer, but did not get any response from CR associates. May be SB associates can answer:

    Camera 4.00 %
    Electronics 0.00 %

It does not make sense. Camera is a sub-category of Electronics (at least the cameras that I looked at), so is it 0% or 4%?

    • Maybe CB is only available for the camera with films? Not with SD cards :)

    • +3

Correct that Camera is a sub category of Electronics. Anything under Electronics > Camera & Photo would fall under the "Camera" cashback rate.

Obligatory warning to triple check your cashback is tracked. Shopback has been pretty slack with not tracking and denying claims.

    • +1

Yeah, they're a bit all over the place. Some of my clicks don't track at all, and then a few times they'll pay out the full cashback amount (~$30+) despite me returning my original orders (from ASOS, Cotton On, etc).

      • +1

For the transactions that don't track, you can claim them here. If you have any issues, you can PM me your registered email address and I'll follow up with the team on this.

As for getting cashback on returned orders, some stores may have decided to approve such orders anyway so consider it a lucky case. It's similar to the case where some might decide to pay cashback on orders where unapproved codes are used.

    • Hi Caped Baldy, if you have any issues, as long as you've reached out to [email protected] already you can PM me your email address and I can follow up with the team on this.

I already reached out for my issues to the help email. Was told tough shit since it is over 30 days despite using the browser extension and ensuring it was ticked. I was given $5 sorry credit. I was expecting around $16 but have sorted it out myself.

Careful with taking a chance with SB tracking for large cashbacks. I got two from the 20% cashback promo did not track even with SB Buddy activated. Feeling ripped off as I wont have bought otherwise.

    • Hi naruto128, have you submitted a claim for these yet? If not, you can submit them here, but if you have already and you're still having issues PM me your email address and I'll follow up with the team.

    Groceries were 7%………. :(

Just to add to this - be very careful with Shopback, especially with these increased cashbacks. My last two claims were not tracked, even with the chrome extension stating that they were. Had to fight for weeks to get my money with a threat to report them to the ACCC the only way in resolving my claim.

Will not use them again, just not worth the hassle.

  • Oh no now we lost mobile phone cash back. Amazon sucks.

  • About to load up on Tekton tools sets. Since I can only get them via Amazon its a bummer there are not any cashbacks around.

Home Improvement, Tools, Automotive, Cell Phone & Accessories & Mobile Electronics 0%

Bought an Amazon Kindle directly from Amazon (not a third party) and received a notification that my $0 cashback has been confirmed (even though Amazon devices should be 7%). Make sure to check!
