That was a 3 pack. This is a two pack. Different. I guess of you only needed 2 you could have saved a couple of dollars.
If u have a time machine, it’s a no brainer.
@Bellpop: Go to the Centrecom link from past deals (forth down) and it's still cheaper than PC Byte.
Mesh system just gives you a slow congested Wi-Fi network.
Just get a router with strong WiFi or add a wired Access Point.I’ve got a house with Ethernet in each room and sonos wifi throughout, needs to be on same network and the back haul is there. Access point would be silly imo.
Access Point doesn't let you seemlessly roam between the points though. The device still has to disconnect and reconnect to the new access point wifi network. Mesh is treated as just one giant wifi connection. (I'm talking about having an ethernet backhaul. Wifi backhaul will suck if you don't have a dedicated channel)
Does Ethernet backhaul just mean Ethernet rubbing back to the router/switch?
Don’t know where you got this idea from, unless you’re referring to connecting to an access point that connects to your router’s wifi
It was only $20 more yesterday for a 3rd. I'm happy to just get 2 but would need to be much cheaper.
