Just a tip…I'm not sure if this is deliberate to steer you to products they make more profit on, but it's definitely happening. A lot of things have gone missing from their search results. If you simply type what you are after and then press enter, not everything available shows in the results. If you search for torque wrench for example, you don't get the entire range in the results. You get SCA, ToolPro and Sykes. No Toledo. Oil is the same, not every thing shows, even if you search by brand name. Search for Castrol 5w-30 and you only get 2 choices. Try this - as you are typing in your search, keep an eye on the drop-down menu that drops down as you type. A lot of extra products show in this list. Click on the item in the drop-down and there it is at the discounted price.
On wiper blades. Here's the fix for squeeky blades. Wiper blades are made to sweep water off the windscreen in both the up and down motion. I said sweep, not push. They sweep up, flip at the top, which is what that dull thud is at top and bottom, sweep down, flip at the bottom and sweep up etc etc. What sometimes happens is they don't do the flip and try to push the water off on either the up or down stroke instead. That's why the squeek is usually only one way. All you need to do is change the angle of the wiper arm so the blades sit properly on the windscreen, which is super easy. Just twist it with your hands. I came across this a few months back and thought it was BS. After putting up wit blades that were so loud they triggered crash mode on my dash cam when I used them, I tried this and bugger me if it didn't work. Be careful if you have plastic wiper arms. These one day sales are silly and these retailers never learn. They pigeon hole everyone into a single day rather than run it over a week so it spreads the load.
Sale is almost useless. Adding things to my cart and out of stock of most of them in all my local stores. How do you run out of air fresheners and Ryco oil filters?

Thought it was online only, so put a click and collect order in this morning at 6am but that was a mistake. Still no email to say it's ready to be collected.
Amazing how all of the cart items I put in this earlier this week disappeared today.
Some of the prices seemed to have had its discounted value based on its rrp (and not on the price it was before) that wasn't present before the sale, which may make the now discounted price higher than it was before or on some, slightly lower than before. And some might have even not changed at all but slashing a random higher price whilst gloating the "sale" price is the same price as it was before the sale!
Next time I will keep a record of prices of stuff I wanna get before a sale comes and see exactly which ones were jacked up and which ones weren't and by how much….

The two items I bought today were cheaper in store than online.
This was $31.49 not $41.99 as priced online. That was the shelf ticketed price and then 25% off.

ARgh missed out again on the Bissell SpotClean machine. Had in cart with $5 shipping - go to pay and it has now disabled delivery and no click and collect due to apparently no stock (which I don't believe). :(

I checkedout an order for 1 SpotClean at $184.24 shortly after 3am when the price finally reflected sale with $5 delivery; got email back saying Processing. Order appears on my account history, money came out of visa & CR has traced it.
Next Comms was 7pm saying Transaction has payment issue, order has disappeared off my account record & yeah is now Store Stock Only :(
No store around me has stock to reorder & it's after 7pm by then anyway.
