Why not? Reviews look pretty good for a budget TV.
They always have picture quality issue.
I bought one 12 months ago non smart with an LG panel. It's great. Not a family TV, just in my quarters where I live/work away but no issues whatsoever. I would do your homework on each individual model though and see what it's got in it and if you go smart, don't expect updates. I just use a nvidia shield.
These reviews have nothing to do with this TV. They are for Kogan itself.
I haven't had any issues with Kogan branded stuff before. They're usually good value for money. Not top of the line but great on a budget. My kids have Kogan brand TVs in their rooms and the picture quality is fine.
Although for each model experience could change. But that is true of any brand TV.
