    Silicon Power 16GB (8GBx2) XPOWER RGB Turbine Gaming DDR4 3200MHz (PC4 25600) 288-pin CL16 1.35V UDIMM Desktop Memory Module - Low Voltage(amazon.com.au) $139.99 $117.99 <SAVE $22 (16% OFF)

link is wrong, it goes to a bare PCB 2400mhz ram. I think you meant this but it's OOS. Or this, it shows the RGB pics but no "RGB" in the name, and also it's $193 not $117.

    • Hi xrailgun,

its not thats it a wrong link but the reason its redirecting to a different product page is that Silicon Power 16GB (8GBx2) XPOWER RGB Turbine Gaming DDR4 3200MHz (PC4 25600) 288-pin CL16 1.35V UDIMM Desktop is now out of stock real quick

so it's gone for good? or will you be restocking it at this price?

  • Are SSDs any good as a data drive attached to a Router for a home office setup? Data accessed on two computers, one via Gigabit LAN and other via WiFi.

    • +5

No point in buying a SSD for that. Just get a cheap external HDD.

      • Thanks, so network speed will be the bottleneck?

        • +2

          And, the crappy router CPU

        • +2

Definitely anything over wifi won’t make good use of an ssd’s speed

        • Gigabit ethernet is 100MB/sec max and you're not going to be worried about IOPS running SMB share on a router.

  • I have the Silicon Power 32GB (16GBx2) 3200mhz, not RGB ones, and run them 3600mhz with the same timings as 3200, they were $249 delivered from Amazon in June 2019. Not had a single issue at 3600.

  • can u use the sata drive for a pc desktop build? it says for laptops on the listing

  • I haven't really kept up with SSD brands.

This or wait for a discount on Crucial MX500?

  • TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT

  • Haha A55…
