Just received this bonus points redemption offer in my email.
Good timing as I was about to close my Citibank credit card account and spend my points - now I can get a bit more value via Flybuys.
Will need to sign into your Citibank rewards online account to see and redeem offer.
Good value considering a $100 Coles Gift Card from Citi rewards is 20,900 points (20,000 fly buys = $100 fly buys dollars). This works out cheaper with a 15% bonus on top.
Not sure how this works.
It appears that for every 1 flybuys point you need to transfer 1.33 Citi points, or 1.156 Citi points with 15% bonus.
Accordingly, to get an equivalent of 20k flybuys points ($100 flybuys dolloars) , you need to transfer 23.13k Citi points, which is more than 20.9k Citi points as you would need to get the $100 Coles gift card as you mentioned above. I hope I'm wrong.
Have to consider that it's not a 1:1 conversion.
It depends on the card you have. I have the old free for life Citi Signature card which I believe is now called Premier card and my conversion rate is 1:1. Here's the details in the T&Cs "Citi Prestige and Citi Premier cardholders: Currently 1 Citi reward Point equals 1 flybuys point."

20k citi pts=15,038 flybuys pts. With 15% bonus it's still not worth it.
Plus, I didn't see the bonus pts on the pts transfer page although I did receive the email. Maybe it will be loaded when I finalise the transfer?

I just did a transfer of points, but only the actual points transferred have appeared in my Flybuys account. Here's hoping the bonus points appear within the next few days.
