You must be new to eBay, it always shows the full price.
Got to the checkout page and clicked buy now as soon as I could but still didn't make it. I thought once it was in the cart you would have some time to check out.

I reckoned the 1st drop is a bit easier to get because of lots of peeps loading up and entering codes. But those who didn't get this first drop, will be harder to get especially if they didn't have the item loaded in the cart from the first drop.

yep, I got one by using my checkout page from the last drop. Spam the blue button right before the deal goes live and you should hopefully get it
would say it's a slim chance at best. tried this method twice now and still no luck. hopefully 3rd times the trick at 2pm!
If you have a decent computer, decent internet and got the credit card payment all ready, you will have a fighting chance. I was around 80th last week but maybe I got lucky too. If you repeat this at 2pm and 6pm I think the chance of getting it will be doubled? Good lucky.

A seller made some changes to an item listing.
Its a SCAM. I clicked from 9:58 on wards every 10th of a second and suddenly at 10:001 sec, the no.of items sold became 444 sold from 354 sold, even when it continued to say item out of stock. Looks like EBAY is deliberately misleading people into buying the notorious Ebay Plus membership. Exactly like the last time!
same for me at 6pm. no way it can legitimately sell out in under 3 seconds. A human can't click the necessary number of buttons to put it in their cart and make payment.

Have a look of the user IDs then you will find more than half of them are with 0~3 stars. (Maybe these 3 stars for 3 airpods lol?)

Had the checkout screen open from my 10am attempt, and spammed the Confirm and Pay button from 1:59pm until it worked.
Used the same method with success!
Did not work for me. The page refreshed and went to another screen with saying no quantity - couldn't even press back space to go back to cart guessing 6pm won't work for me either
@omgilia: Yeah it's not foolproof or anything, I did the same thing last week with no success. Gotta be fast, have the item in cart and lucky.
It seems like such an odd thing for eBay to run. Make 300 customers happy but piss off thousands.

Tried it, got a "seller changed the item blah blah blah" and it disappeared, haha. Gonna give up.
Yeah, it will do that until it comes back into stock (it can take 20+ seconds after the drop to actually be available). Then if you get lucky, the confirm button will take a bit longer.. and boom, hopefully you score em. If they're still in your cart, I'd just set a reminder at 5:55, for 5 or 6 minutes of your time I reckon it's worth one last crack :-)
How do u apply the code when in cart? I click ‘got to checkout’ but get the error
At 10am I was too slow, but made it to the check out screen by clicking "buy it now". There's a spot for the code on there. There was a post in the other thread on this that had a link to generate a cart you could try at 6

I think the key is having multiple windows open on the checkout page and when the time comes just keep clicking buy on all of them.

If you keep spamming from multiple windows, ebay system sometimes identifies you as a bot and you get nothing.

No. I have only one ebay account and purchase regularly. I have bought $99 Airpod last year in the similar type of sale from the same seller.
you should've saved your CC detail by purchasing any other items prior like $1 ones.

I know the point of this is to bait new customers on Ebay Plus, but if they were serious about being fair the deals should be customers only that have a membership greater than month or year.
Yep and it'll lock out all the people trying to get a 2nd or 3rd with a newly created account. I'd even go as far as saying a minimum of 5 or 10 feedback
The whole point of these sales is to promote eBay plus and to pull in new members. So I doubt that will ever happen.
Looking at the history it looks like one sold at 2.05pm. The same thing happened last drop, i think 2 sold 5 minutes after the others. For anyone super desperate might be worth refreshing the page for 5 mins after it ends as some might get relisted due to an error?

I see the problem here, you should be using credit card instead. PayPal is slow, and could be why it didn’t get processed in time.

Using a script to check out could be superfast. Not sure if eBay has such an investigation mechanism to find if many flash sale orders are sent to the same destination.
Other flash sale websites will use an anti-robot mechanism when you check out, making it more fair.

Credit card. 2pm drop I tried with PayPal and got a payment error so tried CC for 6pm, thought it had worked for a minute
