In an old thread - an employee said they sometimes they don't use tenders, instead cut up breasts into strips. Which to me would explain the variance in quality. Can anyone attest to this?
That's what they do if they run out. Both options are still inferior to the old crispy strips.

My experience has been a little bit different. I know what people are talking about in regards to the small tenders. They aren’t really tenders but strips of white meat.
However today I got the tenders box and I got 10 medium/large tenderloin pieces. They were definitely not strips as before and were the whole tenderloin piece.
Very impressed!

They did that on purpose to limit cash transactions due to COVID-19.

Personal Opinion - Tenders are not as great as the Chicken on the Bone or Zinger Burgers. I'm in QLD, so 9pc Hot & Spicy for $10.95 each Tuesday with Free Chips & Drink (Survey Receipt) beats this deal any (Tues)day.
Agree with some of the others that he Tenders have become smaller in size and have also lost their juicy taste. Once you bite in you get a lot of white meat - without much taste in them.
You guys are so lucky up there with the Hot and Spicy. I've been craving for it for years now…

Got some. They were surprisingly bigger than last time. Some were small but some were huge. Good value for some of that Secret herb and spices taste.
