  • How do these compare to standard BOSE ones?

  • +1

I recently purchased a replacement pair for my QC35s, via eBay, 4 days to WA from Sydney, ~$7 incl. postage.
    Happy customer.

I bought some cheap <$10 replacement ones off eBay 2 years ago. They are nice and soft and have held up really well in the last 2 years. There are complaints that third party replacement cushions will affect the ANC but I really can't tell.

      • also got mine from ebay for less than $10 delivered. Anything over $10 that is not genuine are all the same. ebay seller also sells replacement 2.5mm cable for qc35 and can combine shipping so 11.87 not including shipping…. :/

  • got a few types.

do not go for the super cheap $5 version

most of the plether ones (fake leather) are pretty good and easy fit $7-15.

the fill material and mesh is different.

    original is slightly better.

  • The ear cushions quality of my original AE2 were not so good. Changed a pair a few years ago from eBay and happy thereafter:)

  • How much do the originals replacement cost?

    • Around $40.

  • I've been using these for a few months, as my originals were starting to crumble

nice fit and just as comfy

  • I bit the bullet and purchased 2x pairs for my Bose QC35's

I have been purchasing Bose originals @ A$35-$40/pair for the last 3+ years and barely get a year out of them despite very delicate and careful handling (gentle placement both on head and back in case after use, kept clean with soft cloth and no chemicals etc), yet they break down in under a year!

At that rate, I fiqure I may as well try these cheaper units out and see how they perform and how long they last before the material begins to break down. I would not be surprised if they are produced in the same factory in China. I will compare them side-by-side with a spare set of genuine Bose pads I have on hand.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago for my QC35s. I had been considering the official ones for a long time but decided to give the cheapies a go and have been super happy with them. They come vacuum sealed and flat as a tack but once installed you won't know the difference.

  • I have these, and while they do fit they're difficult to install as it's a very tight fit inside the cup.

  • Like others here, I've replaced mine for $10 or so via eBay.

This isn't anything special, and seems overpriced.
