  • am I correct in saying this is around the same as a 1070 ti?

I guess it should be compared with 1660 or 2060 ?

    • +2

Yeah, it's equal to a 2060, and the 2060 was ~5% faster than the 1070 Ti.

Damn, paid $100 more one month ago. But good card, fairly quiet. Hardware unboxed has a few videos comparing 5600xt cards, this is the best overall.

Just purchased from eBay and talked to Chat about claiming Best Price Guarantee. They said it will go to approval within 24-48 hours but I was able to get the support person to confirm that the Amazon item was eligible. Obviously can't guarantee that eBay won't try to pull some BS afterwards, as claim was indicated to be for ~$147. Saved the webpage to show it was in stock at the time for whatever that's worth.

I bought it through 28 degrees from a seller with an ABN, so I should be able to double dip against the eBay price within the 12 month price protection window which could turn out to be quite lucrative. Just need to make sure I don't miss when this card is discontinued. Now just hoping I don't experience any driver issues.

EDIT - Also for anyone considering this graphics card, this seems indisputable the version to get for best balance of cooling, performance and noise. The only consideration might be if you are planning to put it in a SFFC (e.g. NCASE M1), it is apparently relatively large and a tight fit.

      UPDATE - Coupon was issued.

      • Hey mate, thanks for posting. I was just wondering whether you asked ebay support for the best price guarantee prior to making the purchase with them or after? and did ebay factor in the cost of shipping?

        • Didn't ask beforehand as I had 28 degrees price protection as a backup. Not sure about shipping.
