My first USB stick was 256MB and it cost $45.

At the time I thought it was a bargain.

My first was a Sandisk Cruzer Micro 1GB that I bought for $100 from Big W.

Yeah I bought one through a work program at the time for $75 and accidentally washed it in my pocket 🙁

I've had a USB stick go through the wash, as long as you dry it out properly they still work fine. At least mine did.

It probably was a bargain at that time

A waste of money, USB drives are so overrated.
I don’t see how one need more than 16G for installing an OS.

      • Probably the same with the Bill Gates statement on RAM.

        • You sure that was bill gates not someone else?

      • Yeah, most space there is wasted. And normally people no longer use it at all

    • +2

Fun fact: USB drives can be used for more than installing an OS

      • Shit man I really didn't know that, here I was using rewritable CDs to transfer files smh my head.

  • What! Not one mention on speed performance?

  • why do these amazon deals go out of stock so quickly, what a joke
