I'm happy - from the whisky show last year to me there was a clear standout winner - something unusual - Connemara Irish Peated whisky… It's not overly sweet like a typical speyside, and it's not overly peated like a Lagavulin, Laphroaig or such… If you add anything other than a drip of water it's takes away the flavour to my taste - it's fairly perfect at room temperature with nothing added.
Not so nice to hear I know but I treated myself to a bottle of it in mourning my dad's passing overseas in April…. Dans seems to be the only place to have it but in store it's a bit expensive….. with the ebay special I bought another 4!
Can you please write all flavour profiles?
