    Best coffee
Owner Mel is a top bloke also

  • Freshly Roasted

    When was it roasted?

    • +6

      Hi

Thank you for your interest in our products. We roast all our beans fresh on demand in small batches. All orders will be roasted from tomorrow morning.

      Cheers,

      • Sold!

    • Hey Stumo. I’ve been buying from these guys for a little over a year now. Always freshly brewed, and good, consistent quality.

The Crema Ultimo beans are amazing. I use these beans in my espresso machine and in a cold drip (ground to suit of course).

No affiliation, just a happy customer.

Just running out of coffee so great timing - but 3kg is a lot. What's the best way to store coffee so it degrades as little as possible?

    • +4

Aromas had a good article on this which seemed to be comprehensive:
      https://aromas.com.au/blog/how-to-store-coffee-at-home-for-m…

TL;DR - you can freeze in good quality vac packed containers

      • Awesome - thanks for the link. Guess I can bust out my vacuum sealer!

      • What a fantastic read, thanks for the link!

    • +2

As above i've been vacuum sealing and freezing with good results. Coincidentally currently going through my first Sicilia sampler pack, it's pretty good so far, i'll very likely order again. It was $21 plus postage for 4x 250gm bags if you don't want to go the 3kg in this deal.

    • +1

Yeah I was thinking of splitting it up into smaller vacuum bags and keeping them in the old freezerino.

Does Espresso Mocha contain Robusta? I note it is the only coffee in your post that does not say "100% Arabica".

    Thanks.

    • +1

      Hi,

Thank you for your interest. Our Espresso Mocha does contain a slight percentage of high quality grade 1 robusta.

      Cheers,

  • Very reasonable prices. Ordered, thank you.

  • How often do you guys roast?
Do you have a storefront for pickup in Adelaide?

    • Hi,

Thank you for your interest Andrew. We sure have, please select the pick up option in the check out process.

      Cheers,

      • But how often do you roast?

        • +1

          Answered above.

    Nice have bought good deal!

  • +1

    Thanks Ordered. good prices

Great Coffee!! Just ordered last week, would have loved this deal.

  • I wouldn’t really call 1Kg bags a “Sampler” but looks like a good price

    • He understands to maximize value for postage unlike the other guys deal today who had won 1,000 awards at the school fete :)

    • +1

      At under $20 a kg it's a great sample.
Some other rep was flogging $25 for 250gms as an RRP.

      • Not saying it’s not good value. Just that I tend to think of 250g as a good sample size whereas 1Kg is the normal size

        • If your buying coffee beans by the sack, 1kg is definitely a sample size.

          • +1

@Yawhae: Because we buy by the sack here on ozbargain…

  • Guys ive bought some this year, tbh very nice coffee and it was fresh. You should have a go!

    • Thanks for being honest

  • +1

Been using the Crema Forte for a while now - great value and excellent coffee!

Pretty much next day delivery most of the time in Adelaide too

  • Anyone in WA Perth area tried this? How long it took to arrive?

Fastway is very slow to Perth.

    • +1

Avoid Fastway at all costs. They are the worst delivery service.

  • What's your recommendation for long black

  • Well, if the Ozb crew are sold then I'm sold. Sign me up!

  • How does this compare to International Roast?

    Thanks

    • Anything is better than International Roast.

        Folgers Classic Roast?

        From a review;
"This tasted like how that roadside motel where everybody gets murdered in No Country for Old Men probably smelled. Never in my life have I had a wet substance in my mouth that also felt dry. To further erase any evidence that I had ever had this noxious substance in my house, I threw away the jar of Folgers, as well as the coffee cup I drank it out of."

  • Smaller sample packs are available too!
Just bought the mild, medium and strong one (4x250g each, so 3kg total) for just over 65.70 delivered.

  • I'm only gonna buy 400g now -takes me too long to get through it all.

  • Coffee beans running out so this is timely.

  • How does this compare to some of the main stream coffees from Coles and Woolworths?

  • Would've jumped on this but just dont need 3kg

  • out of stock (6pm tuesday)

  • was ready to pull the trigger, gone in 2 hours?

Hi there OP, is there any chance of a 'sampler' including the decaf and reduced caffeine packs?

    • +3

As a decaf drinker, I do find "we" are left out a lot in this regard.
I like my coffee, but caffeine messes me up.
I tend to buy a Kg at a time online in smaller 250 gram bags and just use as needed. Pity there are limited flavours and types for decaf. I guess the market isn't just big enough.

I might give these guys a go if their prices are competitive enough. Thanks for the post.

      Hi

Thank you for your interest. We do have such an offer available, please see link below:

      https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/collections/sample-packs/pr…

      Cheers,

      Danny

      • Cheers, it doesn't include the Mezzo reduced caffeine pack though? Is it possible to swap one of those in the decaf sampler for that?

  • Aww. Sad I missed this. I need some more beans and love trying new coffees.

  • Shizza missed. anymore left kind Sir?

  • They have 4kg available for $68.90 which works out to be $17.22 per kg.
    4kg is a lot though.

    https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/collections/sample-packs/pr…

    Anyone keen on going halves?
    I am in NSW, Shire.

    • Their 1kg "Strong Sample Pack" (4x250g) normal price appears to be $18.90.

      https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/collections/sample-packs/pr…

Have I missed something, the OP's deal seems to require a bulk buy that includes a single origin (often recommended for black coffee) and includes robusta beans (sometimes used as a cheaper filler) while their standard pricing for the 1kg appears better packaged, all blends (for milk coffe) and is cheaper.

The robusta content in the 1kg pack is unclear, perhaps that's a factor in the lower prices?

I'm not suggesting there's not a deal or being critical, only trying to understand whether this is a good buy.

Picked up today, tried ESPRESSO MOCHA - very nice coffee.
When you walk inside, smell of freshly roasted coffee hits you… priceless.
My new favourite coffee supplier :) Thanks Op.

Mine got delivered this morning. The courier said "I can smell it's coffee". I said "Well done!" and asked him if he's into coffee. He said he is, used to work for Jura, Sunbeam machine at home.

@Sicilia marketing - also well done. A good enough deal here that I gave him one of the packs.

  • Received today. Courier said "Shame to deliver this one, it smells so good"

Of the three, the strongest one "Mocha Espresso" seems to have off-gassed the most. The bag is puffy.

Better drag the vacuum sealer out.
