    Lowered price to reflect new RRP. Surprised that the shuffle dropped in price there was no changes to the shuffle but now it's in line with the US RRP number wise (not after exchange, it'll be cheaper than US RRP after the drop in exchange rates now)

    There's a new nano with a lower RRP as well as a new touch (new colour that's it lol) also with a lower RRP. This price drop however is on the old 4th gen black touch, white isnt available yet, this lower price is to clear it out before the "new" touches start shipping on the 12th that's why this price of $188 is only available until the 11th.
    Not sure why the classic is having a price drop though.

    They sholud have at least updated the processor to the A5, or atleast a 2mp camera upgrade, appart from the white colour its exactly the same thing! Well at least the price dropped to 199 so thats a plus

    ok i think that prices can be lower. They are saying $50 of rrp. 188+50 = $238. So thats the old RRP
    If they were to take of $50 of the new RRP($219) then you have $169. That what u can expect come christmas. :D

        No this offer is for "current" stock only ie black only. The "new" touches should ship with iOS out of the box.

      perhaps someone wants the size of a shuffle but with the screen and features of the nano? not everyone needs an ipod for games/internet/camera

    yeah, I use my ipod for running/gym and the size of the touch/classic etc are too big, the new nano with the clip is perfect. I have a phone for games,net,camera etc

    Is the pod touch 5g absolutely identical hardware wise to the 4g? It seems the only difference is that 5g ships with iOs 5.
    But I'm wondering if there's any small tweaks (hw or asthetics) that warrant waiting for the new shipment.

    It has sold out at BigW QV (VIC) for anyone that is looking. I think its also harder to pricematch when the original store does not have it in stock.

    Was told by a staff member that they will be selling it with an included Logitech speaker dock when they receive the next shipment in a few days time.
