If you can willing know what these ANIMALS are put through just to get your cheap eggs I worry about your humanity. If you can't afford and extra $1-$2 for ethically kept animals then I would call bullshit. Plus the lacking nutrition and colour in cage eggs is noticeable

You're probably right but these are literally listed as CAGE eggs. Might as well call it prison raised. Don't know how or why you related religion to this. Nothing to do with religion it's simply to do with quality of life which these ANIMALS are not given.
Cage eggs taste horrible compared to free range. As for the hens, they can always refuse to do it for what they get in return, but for some reason they never do.
