    Isn't this rrp?

  • The grinder retails for $349 (?) however can be found for $199 on Amazon, Catch etc. pretty frequently.

I purchased this for $168 in mid 2019. It's been a great entry level grinder and would recommend at this price for anyone looking for an entry level electronic grinder for espresso , French press, or filter coffee.

    • Same here, I got it on that $168 deal from Bing Lee and still can't believe how good it is!

      • I am waiting for a similar price for a month now. Holding myself from biting the bullet at $199 mark.

Similar price available from Myer, BingLee, Amazon and Harvey Norman for the silver version.

This one from TGG is available from very limited number of stores and doesn't have a shipping option.

        • It's still great value at $199, you won't regret it.

        • I had been waiting months for a deal around $160ish but no go. No regrets about buying it for $199 last month though, it’s a fantastic accompaniment to my espresso machine.

          • @Chickenleg: Oh man! i have been waiting for this too.
I'm not sure whether this should i keep waiting for $160ish price or just bite the bullet and get this one to accompany my moccamaster :/

            • @froddoog: Seriously though, last posted deal around that price was over 6 months ago for $151.20 not including a TGG Commercial post. I know everyone's different but IMO, not really much point in saving around $40 if it's something you're going to use every day and may not drop in price for a long time

              • @Chickenleg: yea i think i will go for it! thank you!
have you experience returning things to Amazon? I was just thinking should I buy it from Harvey Norman or Amazon

                • +1

@froddoog: I bought mine from Amazon but luckily haven never needed to return anything to them. I imagine it would be a little cumbersome with a larger item like a grinder though, so i agree perhaps try and get it from a local store if possible. I was about to get it from Harvey until they sold out in store at the time

I'm giving this a vote because it has to be the best value grinder on the market. I've come from a Rancilio Rocky and this is so much better it's not funny. I know I might get flamed but the consistency of this grinder, the auto dosing, the lack of mess around the base etc makes this a no brainer purchase. Hands down the best value home grinder going.

I have also come from a Rancilio Rocky and can agree to all of the above. Although not built like a tank like the Rocky, it is otherwise much better to use. The ergonomics of the grinder is unbeatable.

I also got the truffle colour from the Good Guys Commercial at the start of last month for $161 and like I mentioned in another thread you just got to keep checking back for stock cause they seem to put it up at the price and take it down based on other sellers.

Definitely agree it’s one of the best home grinders for under $200.

$199 + Free Delivery with Myer might be the better deal for some.

    • Tempted as I have Myer gift cards. But current grinder is still going strong.

Will only buy if it's less than $159

It's only been at the price once in the last 9 months. With the Aussie $ as it is, you might be waiting a while.

Patiently waiting for the Breville the Barista Express BES870 to go below $550 again …. :(

    • i am afraid that is a very wise choice. can't go wrong with the awesome 870 unless u pay 600+ for it

    • It's $599 for the Cranberry Colour at JB Hi-fi (I'm not sure if I want a Cranberry coffee machine), I've been waiting as well, I'm not sure if we are going to see anything less than that, there doesn't appear to be much stock around.

    • I was too for a long time but afraid corona has put a massive demand on these with so much wfh happening right now. Sold out/back order at a lot of stores - not been in stock on Amazon or DJs for quite sometime .

      • GG has it for $599 as well but you have to order through a store so can't get the $80 online offer yes lot of places have no stock

  • Awesome grinder! Please note that having preset grind times only works if you're consistently using the same beans. I'm someone who tries something different each week so I have to weigh the beans first and then grind - The preset times don't get much use.

  • Can I please trouble anyone who owns one where this grinder is made from? Thank you

    • I have one, it's made in China.

  • Thanks for that. Very tempting particularly in this colour. Unfortunately no stock near my area :/

  • How cool does the black look. I want one.

  • I got it for 168 in 2018

  • has been as low as $160 on the past at the moment lot of demand

    • At present selling for $199, since start of May.
Hopefully will go down soon and I'll be able to buy one :)

  • Sorry to ask a silly question. I am an instant coffee drinker. only 1 cup a day. Can this machine do just 1 cup? Is getting this machine a right choice? Any other alternative?

    • Hey man, you know this is just solely a grinder right? It'll just grind whole coffee beans and that's it.

Are you looking for a coffee machine? If so it will depend on many factors such as taste preferences, budget, how long you want to spend actually making the coffee (as in convenience), whether you want to fresh grind your beans, and so on.
