Surfshark VPN: 90% Cashback @ Cashrewards

680

Enjoy :)

Expires: Jun 23, 2020, 11:59:00 PM
Just $11* after cash back on 3 year plans
Coupon:CASHREW3Y

New Surfshark customers only.

You must click out from this offer on Cashrewards and then select 'Buy Now' from the Surfshark page in order to receive the discounted 36 month plan. If the coupon is not applied automatically, ensure you add it prior to checkout.

Prices are quoted in AUD, and may change depending on US dollar exchange rate.

Offer and increased cashback can be withdrawn at any time without notice.

The AUD amount that tracks to your Cashrewards account may differ to the paid amount due to international exchange rates. Your initial payment is converted to USD, then converted back to AUD when reported to us. The advertised Cashback rate is based on the reported amount, not the paid amount. Cashrewards has no control over this process.

Referenced $13 $11 after cashback is a best estimate figure which depends entirely on current exchange rates and may vary due to the current volatile nature of world currencies. Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only (AUD $3.05 $2.85 per month or approx AUD $110 $103 for 3 years). It will not include any GST, taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.

From previous post: Advice is to pay using a credit card (or debit card) and not PayPal.

  • Any reviews on this Surfshark VPN please? I'm a bit scared when it comes to installing VPN software on my NB.

    • i have been using it for the year and its been a good experience. I moved from Windscribe. Able to use US Netflix on TV via smartDNS. It works great on my phone, also Shield. The windows app is regularly updated to fix bugs and introduce new features.

My experience with them is they are not a patch on NordVPN. After three weeks I'm going for a refund under their 30 day satisfaction guarantee, but even then I've read how some have got Surfshark agreement to refund and never received it. My main bugbear is they only have one Swiss connection and that must be overloaded because the streaming resolution through it is normally crap compared again to my alternatives - Getflix and NordVPN.
But hey-ho @ $11 for three years, even I wouldn't worry about less than the cost of two beers at the RSL.

    • surf shark is great, but note they do not have PTP servers located in Australia.

      • What's the advantage of P2P servers in Australia may I ask?

        • Only advantage is lower ping, if you are playing games or something at the same time which i would do.

  • Question to current SurfShark users: Does their CleanWeb ad blocker block ads on the iOS/Android Youtube app? (I mean the actual app, not via a web browser)

    • No

Use this VPN to sign up for Youtube Premium through India, less than $3/month and definitely worth it

      • I want to use this for Disney+hotstar indian account. Any feedback?

    • Use YouTube vanced.
      You won't look back.
      Don't need vpn

  • usa netflix?
currently i hve PIA which i dont even use coz it does not work with netflix
current main use is windscribe. works with netflix

  • Using this right now. Need to factor in that google robot verification thing which gets super annoying if you jump sites constantly…

Probably because a shipload of people are using the same VPN…

    • +1

Isn't this an issue on most VPN providers? Since maany people use the same IP addr.

      These chrome extensions should help.
      I'm Not Robot Captcha Clicker
      Buster Captcha Solver

      • Any recommendations for Safari?

      • Wait, are those robots that complete captchas for you šŸ˜‚. So the only ones disadvantaged by captcha are real human beings using websites normally.

    • It is specific to the server location you choose. I had the issue while trying Melbourne/Sydney and switched to Brisbane, problem solved. Now after a few days Iā€™m back on Melbourne and seems itā€™s no more either.

  • does anyone know which vpn can connect to physical server in VIetnam ? my wife want to watch local vietnamese channel and vietnam netflix ( it has more series and movies than aus) ?

    • Lis of countries on their website https://surfshark.com/servers

      • i can see Vietnam is in the list. how does the speed when connect to VN server? will it work on my mibox S ?

  • Just got my Cashback today from the previous deal.
Havenā€™t used the service enough to give an accurate review.
Netflix USA seemed fine. Some other countries just defaulted to US / AUS

    • Iā€™m waiting for mine still. Got the $13 for 3y after cashback offer end of May

    • i connect to VN server but netflix is default to us server. seem weird

  • How long does the cashback on surfshark usually take?

    • yeah would like to know too, from my account only showed as clicked, not yet tracked/ pending (under transaction).

  • Using the cashrewards app, the code already applied when i click on the advertisement.

The speed is faster than torguard. Sadly i still have 3 months subcription of torguard.

My cashback from shopback got 3 days to get it tracked, should be ready in the next 90 days.
I Haven't got any trouble using netflix or other vpn to connect to other countries, like vietnam and turkey.

    • Turkish Netflix?

Why Turkish? Because you mistakenly selected it instead of Vietnam? šŸ˜…

      • +1

        Watch Harry potteršŸ˜

  • Anyone know if netflix Hong Kong work?

    • Yes. Hong Kong is on their server list. Not sure if for Netflix or just a random server, though.

    • Is there any TV show/movie you would specifically like to check if it works?

I tried Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy, and it plays off the Hong Kong server.

  • Ugh! My second attempt (last time, during May), and again it seems as though I am stuffing up.

When I go to Cashrewards, I click on the three yearly one and it looks like I am going to be charged the ā€œdiscountedā€ amount of $117~, so I chicken out and do not purchase it.

Can anyone confirm if they had similar issues and found a workaround?

For what it is worth, Cashrewards does not seem to give me to opportunity to enter a code in manually.

Just make sure you turn off any ad-blocker extensions (if you're paranoid, turn off everything first), then login to CR, then go to the Surfshark offer page, and click the orange "SHOP OFFER" button (NOT the orange "Shop Now" button below the logo). You know you're on the right page when you are offered 3 year plan instead of the normally 2 year max plans to sign up. Mine got approved a few days after but most seems to get it sooner.

So far great speeds for alot of things and BT too, connected to Perth server. Haven't really tried Netflix though.

      • Yes, I have done that, and I am offered the 36 month plan for $2.85/mth, or $102.60/3 years. Mind you, this is offered at an 82% discount.

I feel that the discount code is applied already, and drops the price down from $574.64, to $102.60, and the inability to add the code to get the $11/3 years, makes me feel disconcerted.

        • If my memory serves me right, I didn't have to add the code too (but if you see voucher white box in the payment page, go for it). And you can actually see the previous 90% deals here (almost every month there were listings), just make sure you see the ones made by BA. Just follow the steps and you'll be alright.

        • @isa Is it just me, but my impression is that you donā€™t know how Cash Rewards work? You get the cash back After you pay to get the final net price!

  • What about screen mirroring does that work? As well as us,jap, aus netflix and prime? Can any one share their findings pleas

  • Ffs I bought 3 years for $80 couple of months back

  • I joined in May and for less than $11. it has been great. Good speed and it works with Netflix and iPlayer.happy days.
Just thinking ahead. What do I need to do to become a new customer in 3 years time. Do I need to create a new account for cash rewards for the cash back?

    • I'd be surprised if the same deal is available in 3 years. It can't be profitable for them.

I'm guessing they're just offering this to get a client list and hoping most users won't bother to cancel

      • I have already live chat with them in regards to cancelling auto renewal.

        • Yeah what did they say?

          • @witsa: They ask why so I gave them a silly answer. Done within 10mins.

  • Only thing I can say about this is you have to contact them if you want to cancel. There are no account control features so you will need to remember before the recurring fee to organise another deal or continue.

    • For me it was just a quick chat, they asked for a reason but I said nope nothing, all good, just don't want to auto renew that's all. 5 minute job.

  • Cheers OP finally bit the bullet

  • Surfshark is great, only thing to note is they dont have PTP servers in Australia so if you are torrenting and want to game you're ping will be around 300. other than that i would recommend them.

    • What does ptp do? And why does your ping matter if you're torrenting?

      • i like to be able to play games and talk to friends on discord while torrenting so for my case it was annoying.

  • Will there ever be 3 year deals with ExpressVpn on cashrewards? Have looking for a while now. The only deal I found was for only 3 months something.

    • Yup, $40 off for 1 year plan + 3 months free I think. Supposedly the bigger VPN out there, but can't beat value with Surfshark + Cashrewards.

  • The page is charging me 102$ for the transaction, if I purchased I'll got 90% back later from cash rewards ? Or the check out suppose to be 11/13$ ?

    • +1

You get your cashback later from Cashrewards

  • How long to track the cashback? I bought yesterday but I didn't receive any email about the cashback from Cashrewards until now

    • A day or two

  • For all the people worrying about getting cash back, cashrewards has tracked my purchase from yesterday in under 24 hours for the amount of $89.14. It will be available to me in 85 days.

I pressed the 'shop offer' button and chose the 3 yr plan for $102.The three year plan did already show as having a 'coupon applied' for 83% off, there wasn't a place for me to enter the code shown on the cashrewards.

Presumably, the 'code applied' sign is a gimmick and the amount shown is just the amount for a bulk buy.

Just remember to press 'shop offer' and choose the three year plan.

  • Thanks OP. Bite the bullet eventually.
Took a bit time to set it up with Asus Merlin. Seems okay so far, in terms of connection speed.

    • Tracked $89.39 of $99.33 purchase amount within 3hrs

  • Tracked $88.94 / AUD98.82 in less than 2 days after purchase

    • Surely your first figure is in AUD.

      • I saw wrong, sorry, it's AUD98.82 Spent and AUD88.94 Cashback

  • I signed up when will the cashback be in the account? nothing apart form my click history is shown.

Also how do I know I'm connected to USA Netflix for example all the shows I can find on AU Netflix ?

Edit got it working did the choose apps to use vpn and reload netflix.

  • I got an email from Cashrewards that said i paid AU$99.34 with a cashback of $89.40. Only problem is that my bank has taken out $106.40 still a great deal but i don't know why the price is different to what Cashrewards said i was billed?

    • +1

My bank took out $101.82, cashrewards will give me back $89.39. I think there will be a small international transaction fee to come. To answer you question cashrewards was just estimating what your bank would charge even says so. It was processed as 69.99 USD by my bank.

  • Is it possible to run this on chromebook (as an app or something?)

  • Mine hasn't tracked… annoying

  • Unlimited devices,.. what I can share my account for my grandma's phone, the neighbor next door and 10 other people I know?

Sounds great for a business with a lot of staff I guess

Can you control other clients app from one master account? As you can gather I'm a newbie too VPNs šŸ¤ŖšŸ‘
