Dropped into Top Ryde city shopping centre. Went to JB Hifi/Dick Smith. Both of them had it for 78 bucks. EB games had it for only 68 bucks. WIN.

what is that eb games store like anyway. been there a few times but heard from some people the staff are rude and refuse to match prices…
That isn't EB Games price. You can see at the bottom of the picture that they're price matching Big W. It's slightly cut out.
If there is no Big W near your local EB Games or if the Big W is out of stock, they won't honour the price match.
Most likely how the store is justifying a local special they are having.
Good price, but you can potentially get it for cheaper - I got my copy of 2K12 for $51 by picking up the following PS3 games from EB:
- De Blob 2 New $18
- Mind Jack PO $15
- Kung Fu Rider PO $18
And brought it across the street to JB for 3 for 1 trade (think some EBs are also willing to match the trade-in deal)… none of these are on the exclusion list:

this method pretty much gets you any new release game for ~$50, always the best way to go.
few days ago got 3 guitar hero 5+ guitar for 15 bucks at myer, and myer had a flaw in their systems which made the Forza3/halo odst bundle at 0.01. so I asked the staff, he said they'll count it as buy one and u get it free. ended up with 6 unwanted games worth $15 and traded them for Gears 3 and Rage Anarchy Booyyahhh ACED it!
Slightly less @ Zavvi if you can bother waiting for it (From experience it doesn't take TOO long)..its ~39 pounds (inc post) from Zavvi.
besides.. will there even be a 2011/2012 nba season?!? Running out of time for negotiations!! lol.
Owh and for PC.. its only ~AUD22 shipped. Which is hell cheap!

EA have dropped the ball on their Live franchise… they dont deserve pity.
Was a massive fan since "Bulls vs Blazers" game- but last few years 2KSports have dominated big time.
For those not convinced, just try it this year… awesome game!

the game is soo much harder than 2k11. easier to rebound and tip in, but dunking wow…can hardly do it now.
I agree. Passing is harder too. The options for on the go coaching is better in 2k11.
Seriously, prices this cheap on new releases i see no point in buying them overseas anymore. (only for new releases)
Yea for the extra $8-10 may as well get them locally.

NBA 2k11 was a great game. Might trade it in for the new one.
Slightly off topic: But I highly recommend MLB 11 The Show for an sports fans. It is the best sports game I have come across so far.
Thats really cheap considering 2k11 was about $90++ when it came out.
