these toasters were flagged by CHOICE as one of the worst toasters you can buy - I had one and can attest to this.
it doesnt toast - it warms the bread but to toast it, you need to put it through like two or three times.
$19 is good though

Are you sure it's this model? The one on choice (the shonky award one) appears to be a different model. That model on productreview (the shonky award ones) gets roasted as well.

Mine arrived today - appears to not toast evenly on both sides. Almost as if the crumpet setting is engaged when it is not. You can even see that the elements aren't the same level (the middle is much brighter). Anyone else having this issue or is this one faulty?
EDIT: Just messaged my friend who also bought one and he said his does the same thing. Seems like a design fault to me.

Yeah I just messaged Kensington to return it. My friend is keeping his. It's not that big of a deal but for me I can see it annoying me.
