Yeah nah, if you haven't received the code by text, even if you contacted eBay CS they won't give you the unique code for $5 off. I just asked them and they asked me where did I get this code from etc. Told them it's from an inactive eBay member friend and they explained that it's a promo code to lure back inactive users - so I won't be able to use it anyway
This kind of code is attached to your eBay account, you can't use it with another account.
