      You cannot find anything better than CTEK.

      All the others are inferior clones and CTEK wannabees. Why would you pass 10% less and risk an inferior knock off than the genuine thing.

      I've had intelligent battery chargers and minders over 10 years servicing my 6 bikes and 4 cars. They've all gone to charger heaven. some blew up other boiled batteries , and the rest failed to do the one thing they were designed to do.

      I have 8 CTEKS at last count and will never buy another charger again.

    There is no dedicated testing mode. However, out of 8 steps (8 lights), second step checks whether battery can take charge or not and fifth stage check charge hold capacity. If failed it will never proceed to next step. Only drawback is result is not immediate. It takes max 36 hours to complete step 5.

  Repco had a charger with identical 8 stage features and it worked out at $20. That deal is exired recently though.
