  • Might also be useful to state what the coupon does instead of just a link, however good deal :)

20% off the jacked-up prices if you are an eBay Plus subscriber.

      • I was referring to the i7 10700k Which is currently the cheapest price on static ice & ebay….

Maybe u should provide a link with cheaper prices and neg the deal if u feel that way.

Someone excluded the information saying they don't ship to NT and TAS? Why? Is it not relevant? All deals come with this info on the title….why with this is different?????

  • Good price for the 10700k and 2070 Super, even though its the most basic 2070 version.

10700k is probably better for all out gaming, cost effectiveness wise the 3900X is probably better.

  • How has people’s experience been with galax?

    • bought the 2060 super and it had a rattling fan.

    • Got this exact 2070 super. Haven't had any issues at all, although I haven't done any gaming, just 4k editing in premiere and it's been fine, idles around 30 degrees (if that's even accurate, not sure).

  • What was the normal price for the 207” before covid?

  • The price on 10700K is pretty good, but not good in terms of value, as AMD's Ryzen is much better.
The problem right now is that R9 3900X has been all sold out (available ones that i can find are close to $780), with cheapest 3700X sits around A$500 mark.
But a good X570 board such as MSI X570 Tomahawk now cost around $399, so the total cost for Mobo+CPU is similar between X570+3700X and Z490+10700K (using Giga Z490 Vision G for Mobo price, which is $350). The difference is less than $100 and the performance is about the same. 3900X have much better performance but comes with a +$200 price difference.(To be fair X570 Tomahawk is a better board than Z490 Vision G, but both are decent enough and the gap is not huge)
I need to upgrade the system, but can't really decide between the options, the price for AMD parts are not as good as I'd thought.
    Anyone has any thought?

    • Ryzen 3900x $671 amazon

    • Motherboard check shopping express clearance and Trinity both on eBay. Definitely you get much cheaper than it. Currently running 20% both stores

Between both, i got a 10700k reason is the ryzen loses Their price market very quick when a new gen comes out. Intel always holds its price and the new generation is further than new amd's generation

      • Thanks for input.
I have checked both seller, no luck there.
In my opinion, Tomahawk is is as low as i'd go for X570 and cheapest i can find is $399 and Unify at $440 (which is a better board that i'm interested in and with 20% off applied).
The used market pricing is what i'm also concerning, AMD CPU loses their price at amazing rate (good for second hand but not to buy when new). And i will do a bit of content creation, so AMD is really a better option for me.
Maybe I should wait until the release of ZEN 3? It should arrived in Oct, if everything goes as planned.

        • Keep in mind the new chipset is coming (x670) do not over spend cash in a motherboard for and right now.

If you want go to ryzen, all you need is a decent b450 motherboard + ryzen 3900x. B450m mortar is 173 on Trinity eBay and it maybe be cheaper in other stores as I haven't checked it.

Other options is the b550, definitely there are cheaper option than a 400 x570 as you mentioned.

Just keep in your mind 2 things: new ryzen XT is coming and you cpu might don't hold is value for long. When the ryzen 4 comes it will be even cheaper.

I wouldn't wait for ZEN 3 otherwise you always will be waiting for something new and not enjoying anything.

I was in the same situation than you. I sold mine 3700x b4 it loses its market price and I got a 10700k i7. I wanted to have a 5.0ghz CPU. Even the 10700 i7 is a beast and costs only 540 bucks. Check the techpowerup review. There is no wrong options, at the end is your call.

  • All JACKED now.
