OzB Exclusive: $5 Bonus Cashback with $50 Spend at Any Online Store @ Cashrewards (Activation Required, Excludes Woolies GCs)

5150

Hi everyone. Another bonus for our members. Will be perfect for stacking with Apple, AliExpress, Lenovo, Cellarmasters, Kathmandu, and other great deals (some go live at noon). Please read the terms and activate the offer prior to shopping. Once activated, shop as normal via the 'Shop Now' (Store) or 'Activate Now' (Notifier) buttons on Cashrewards. Valid for purchases made from 08:00am 26/06/20 to 11:59pm 26/06/20 (AEST). Thanks for your support as always. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

  • To be eligible for the AUD $5 bonus, you must first activate the promotion via the link in this post, then shop as normal via any online store on Cashrewards, excluding Woolworths Gift Cards.
  • Transaction must be made between 08:00AM AEST 26/06/20 and 11:59PM AEST 26/06/20.
  • $5 bonus is eligible when making a purchase of AUD $50 or more (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping).
  • $5 bonus will not be added to your Cashrewards account at time of purchase. It will be credited separately as approved by 29/08/2020.
  • $5 bonus is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
  • Transaction is valid if made online via desktop browser, Cashrewards mobile app, Cashrewards Notifier, or mobile browser.
  • Bonus is not valid for any in-store purchase.
  • Sales may report to Cashrewards ex GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $50. You will still be eligible for the bonus.
  • Selected merchants report orders with multiple items as individual transactions into your Cashrewards account (eBay, Amazon Australia & AliExpress). These are still eligible.
  • $5 bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account (separate purchases from different stores don’t qualify for additional bonuses).
  • $5 bonus is ineligible if an order is cancelled, changed, returned, rejected, or if you purchase an ineligible product (standard store cashback terms and exclusions apply).
  • Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

A common question is "will I be eligible for the bonus if I purchase anything from an Amazon category at 0% cashback, or on eBay using a code"? Answer is unfortunately no. Thank you.

Don't forget to refer-a-friend for $10 each. Tip: add your code to OzB’s randomiser. And check out our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Thanks OP. Here's hoping it tracks.

  • Spent $98 on David Jones without going through Cashrewards because of 0% cash back and then check on OZB and found this :(

    • According to the comments above. I believe no bonus for 0% cash back stores anyway.

      • That's correct :)

    Thanks as always TA!

  • Thanks TA. Quick question re. 0% cashback categories on Amazon - what if in the single transaction there are over $50 worth of items with a valid cashback rate, and a single item with a 0% cashback rate? Is that still valid?

    • This is fine, provided the total cost of the eligible items is $50 or more.

  • besides for 10% off ebay gift cards from woolies and amazon gift card for $50… anyone suggestion $50 of purchase that we all will use?

  • A common question is "will I be eligible for the bonus if I purchase anything from an Amazon category at 0% cashback, or on eBay using a code"? Answer is unfortunately no.

TA, under the T&Qs on Cashrewards page this isn't mentioned. Any reason why this is excluded, particularly items that come under Amazon category at 0% cashback?

In simple terms, the purchase you make must generate cashback:

$5 bonus is ineligible if an order is cancelled, changed, returned, rejected, or if you purchase an ineligible product (standard store cashback terms and exclusions apply).

        Gotcha. Ta

      • So TA, will a mixed cart of cashback generating and 0% items be eligible for the bonus or should we separate these purchases?

  • is purchasing items in coles ebay eligible?

    Hey Rep,
my feedabck is that the android app runs incredibly poorly even on a poerful SD 835. So went to login on chrome desk top, and spent two minutes doing about a dozen captcha, whats the go with that?

    • Are you behind a VPN? Captcha should not be an issue normally (not had any complaints that I'm aware of). Re the app… please try to delete and re-install. We know there's an issue on certain Android handsets that should be resolved in the next app release soon. Thank you.

      • Used a VPN for years, yet never been put through captchas like that before. Tried deleting and re-installing app though it's been persistent for quite a few months, so slow and judder it's unusable. Look forward to the update.

Bought from Auspost and the order is pending 2 business days for payment verification, WT??

Will this transaction be eligible TA?

    • +2

Should be fine. Comments in the post suggest others with the same issue but they still received tracking within the hour.

    Thanks TA.
I've just bought a $50 Amazon gift card from Aussie Post.
Makes whatever I buy from Amazon that little bit cheaper.
    Cheers

  • Hey TA,

Does a mixed cart in Amazon still receive cashback for the eligible item? As an example, let’s say an Amazon device attracting 7% and an item listed under Home Improvement attracting 0%, would you still get the 7% on the value (minus GST) of the Amazon device and also the $5 bonus?

    TIA!

      Hi. Please see here.

  • Dammit, saw the $5 cashback but not the $50 min spend - just spent $36 at Uncle Dans - could have added a bottle of wine to top it up to $50 :/

    • Hand in your OzB badge mate

      • I think the lesson here is: Shop first, Drink second…

  • Hi TA, i ordered stuff on theiconic for 50$ but it only stated for $45 in cashrewards, am i still eligible for this cashback? thanks

Per the terms in the OP:

Sales may report to Cashrewards ex GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $50. You will still be eligible for the bonus.

    Good stuff TA

Thanks for confirming. Not a bad deal as you also get cashback on the card :)

  • Bought from Auspost and the order is pending 2 business days for payment verification, no tracked email from cashreward as well….

Edited: miss the details in the post

  • still not tracked from cashreward, how long does it take to track? it only show up in click history.

    • My understanding is your purchase and cash back should track as per the store time frames stated on the Cashrewards conditions as per normal.

The $5 will not track on your account at all, will just be credited.

    • Responded here to your comment.

  • Mine hasnt tracked either.
