  Never heard of MaxDigital but from what I read in a forum this could be a refurbished/remanufactured Western Digital drive.

    Registered trademark of Goharddrive inc (goharddrive.com)in California. Their trademarks have only been around since Dec '17.

    There are identical drives named WL (White Label), along with their MaxDigital brand on their website.
