  • Can anyone confirm that if I buy the $500 kit now for click and collect, I can still redeem the grinder even if I pick it up say after June 30 (before Jul 15)? Would the invoice be dated today?

    • +2

The invoice will be dated the day you picked it up. Last time I ordered something for click and collect at Bunnings, they sent the invoice on the day I picked it up, which was the next day.

      • Thanks.

        What about delivery?

        • +1

You don't get a PDF invoice, so it will have the date that the items are taken in store and packed for shipping. Invoice is placed with your package.

bought the nailer…dont know if i really going to need it, anyway pulled trigger..

    • I actually need a nailer but I couldn't justify buying the AEG at full price. Wish I had Makita batteries to actually get one.

    • Well done true ozbarginer.

    • Have you used it yet? Any buyers regret?

  • I bought this combo 3 weeks ago, can I get the price difference refunded?

    • +1

You can try or you can do the dodgy. As long as it is the exact same kit. Buy a new one and then refund the new one with the old receipt.

  • Went to grab the $500 2pc from Villawood this morning, they were out of stock and the price is now back to $649.

    • Crap, missed out thinking about which one to buy too much. :(

      • @kdm - same, was reviewing the two options or the AEG :(

  • Picked up this morning. Thanks OP!

  • Picked it up this evening from Bunnings Virginia who not only honoured the original sale price, but matched and beat TotalTools' listing for an almost identical kit. Picked it up for $449. Thanks OP!

Don't forget to register your Makita tools online for the extra 2 years warranty.

  • Would the impact driver be good enough to undo wheel nuts? I thought it would but it doesn’t seem to come close.. bought the $500 kit
