  • Are AGL any good as an energy company? I'm with Energy Australia so wondering if it's worth changing to get these deals?

You'd need to do an energy comparison, break down of your billing to really find out as there are so many variables. I have solar and are a low usage high export house so the AGL solar savers is the best plan for me to be on but if I didn't have solar I would be better off with Tango energy.

  • are these the same cards? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/542869

    • Yeah they seem to be

      • it has been nearly 20% off in that deal before tho; I would wait a bit if not in a hurry to purchase

        • Reading the comments in that thread and it seems a few headaches to get that 20%, many people complaining about the time taken to get cards, other than that then yeah it seems a good deal if it comes back again.

    • BTW, the active card includes giant. If anyone wants a good bike, you can get it for nearly 20% off (haven't tried it myself)

    • some of the giants' stores also sell Garmins!

  • It seems this is most comprehensive reward/E gift card program out there.
Anyone can comment how long it takes to receive an E gift card? 3 business days is too long..

    • I've only purchased once, but I paid for eGift card on a Sunday with CC ($1000 TGG gift card), I then got a call from AGL on Monday morning confirming that it was me who made the purchase, once that was confirmed it was sent through straight away. So it seems a bit of a manual process needs to occur to prevent fraudulent activity but maybe that was just because I did a $1000 straight off the bat.

Always takes 2-3 business days to arrive.

  • Does anyone else get "That wasn't supposed to happen" error in AGL rewards?

  • This one from coles is better deal if you wait two days

    • It's a better deal and I certainly will be taking it up but at cap of 1 $50 gift card per fly buys account it's pretty limited.

    • They are completely different cards too, depends what you're after shop wise.
