I tried to check out to Melbourne and it's Free delivery - Not a bad deal for $69 and save 30?

    Bought one to today for fun. TV reception appears to work ok, it picked up SBS channels fine. But! It only seems so scan channels 6 to 69 (which would appear to be analogue channels), so you can't get One HD, 7Mate, Gem, etc.

    This is a pretty huge dealbreaker. I don't mind if it can't get good reception on all channels, but with the choice of only ABC or SBS, I'm not a fan. I'm doing some Googling but can't see that there is a software update or any way to fix it.

    Needless to say, if I can't work it out, its going back.

      The three channels you name are all HD - this unit is limited to SD.

      (I suspect this limitation would most likely be due to the processing power needed for the much larger HD data stream - or possibly the receiver hardware but unlikely to be a software limitation.)

    I bought two of these last time they were on sale for the kids whilst travelling. I use it as a media player, the only problem I found was the battery life is very ordinary, but having the car charger was great.
