That's a pretty good deal on a well spec'd phone but I would still hold out for another few weeks until the Samsung Nexus Prime is released.

  • wtf and to think i got a htc incredible S a few months ago for 500……..then again i'm happy with this as long as i can keep the damn facebook app OFF and not chewing up memory

Its alright for the price. Would've preferred 1GB RAM to the 3D gimmick.

  • slightly better than the $378 2X (P990) but has no radio

    good deal!

    • can recommend this phone. paid $729 at Optus on release. Get the fat battery w cover for $10 off ebay.

  • how much has this phone been selling it for at other online shops?

  • +1

It's a good deal, and very cheap for this phone (usually over $500), but make sure you are OK with the size of it. This is not a small phone.

  • Does mobileciti provide tax invoice?

    • yes,we do provide tax invoice for the all purchase, after order success you can download the tax invoice for "MY Account" under the "view order"

  • 512MB RAM? Pass.

    • Why did this comment get negged just because he doesn't like the RAM size (it's not like anyone has negged the deal)? My HTC desire has 576MB of RAM (150MB user accessible) and it is almost unusable with regard to loading apps.

Because 512MB is more than enough memory for all current usages of an Android smartphone. You can run 40-50 apps, no problem. Now you may be right that some phones missappropriate memory, but that's the manufacturer's fault and nothing to do with the amount reported (eg I have 372MB available, with 512MB as the installed, and 101MB free after installing/running lots of apps).

This "512MB, pass" thing is not fair on users since it gives them the idea it's a fault, when it not.

        • Sorry dude thats not true. Ive got a Galaxy S with 512MB RAM running on 2.3.3 (stock Optus) and its a piece of turd most of the time. Having only 512MB for a 3D phone running Android 2.3.3 is going to be a disappointment, if most of the time it cant handle 2D applications. So dont agree that its not a fault, it is as it forces the phone to under-perform based on the hardware.

    • Surprised not many more passed on the new iPhone with only 512mb of RAM as well.

Depends how the device uses the RAM though.

  • Are they slow with shipping?

    • We normally shipping within 1~2 working days after payment confirmed. customer normally received within 1-3 working days after dispatch.

Basically same specs as iphone4s, has 3d but is heavier for 409

    • from me
  • Great deal considering the price on other online retailers. Decent specs for the price. Not a big fan of 3D though.

    +ve from me.

  • Good deal, but Ozb is bad for my finances :)

  • Ok. After the Harvey Norman deal I felt kind of bad. Now it is obvious that the universe is just trying to punish me. I bought an Optimus 2X for $403 from Hong Kong last month. It was a great price. But to know I could have waited one month and acquired instead a phone slightly better in every way and also with 3D kills me.

    • I learn through experience (good and bad) that a way to deal with the rapid advancement of technology is to pick a time - when a significant development has taken place - to take the plunge and don't keep looking after that.

For example, I'd hold out on the purchase of Android tablets until the release of Honeycomb, which allowed applications to take full advantage of the bigger screen offered by tablets. Another example is that I'd skipped the first generation the Intel Core processors until the release of SandyBridge, which offers vastly superior video encoding performance.

  • Anybody bought it?i try to buy but it always report payment error(dont be honour) althoug i change 2 debit card.i still use them to buy many things online. :(
Maybe god don't want me buy it. :)
