This looks like a really good deal for the latest gen Ryzen on a ThinkPad. The E14 and E15 seem to be replacing the popular E495 and E595. This is my first post, please let me know if I'm missing anything.

Note: Screen only covers 45% of sRGB.

      That’s fast as order page was showing ship in 10-15 business days. I ordered on 2nd with 4700u, 256gb ssd & 8gb ram but it shows expected shipping on 22nd and expected to arrive 7th Aug

        As the screen is a common point of contention, I use rather bright lights at home (think bright clinical office lights), and it is bright enough within this situation. I do not recommend buying this model for videogames; however, I benchmarked Forza Horizon 4, which ran at 35FPS and upwards on medium at 1080p this felt smoother than you may expect note that I overclocked the monitor to 70Hz (I don't recommend doing this). I was unable to unlock FreeSync using Custom Resolution Utility as the APU is too recent to support older AMD drivers that enabled this.

        The keyboard is fantastic; it has a slightly mechanical feel to it. The function key is in the position which I would typically expect left control to be, which causes miss-clicks occasionally. The build quality is far superior to what I expected, hinges etc all feel premium, better than I expected from an E-Series ThinkPad. I bought my mum an E-Series ThinkPad in 2014, this is a stark upgrade in regards to the build quality. The typing experience is fantastic.

          Thanks for your detailed review mate. I was mainly concerned about the build quality. You cannot find any review for this laptop anywhere and I was skeptical about the build quality as someone mentioned E series is pseudo thinkpad.

          in the BIOS you can swap the ctrl and fn keys if you don't want to get used to the lenovo layout

    I got mine yesterday (16th). Going from a 3-year-old Thinkpad 13 (similar budget range to the E14 now), it's built way better. I'm really happy with it. Stays pretty cool and it's really fast.

      Was your tracking all accurate? I ordered on 2nd July and it says estimated shipping 22 July and delivered in 7 Aug.

    Did anyone get double charges? I got charged $859 on the day I bought it and another charge of $859 showed up after they shipped it.

      My first charge(charged when bought along with $1 pre-auth charge) has disappeared. Item hasn't shipped yet so i believe, i will be charged again when the item ships.

    I am getting the below error when I login to StudentBeans and follow the Lenovo link from there.

    'Sorry! It's not you… it's us. Please call the phone number at the top of the page and we'll fix this right away.'

    Anyone else had this issue?

      I think you should access the education store gateway and create a new Lenovo account (not link to student bean) and then refer your student email to authenticate your lenovo acount you created.

        Tried this and it didnt work still. Although i have an account created with Lenovo, if I go to register an account, it asks to verify email etc. It doesnt give an option to linkt o StudentBeans.

    I got my new E15 model several day ago and i realize that the top right screen bazel is loose. It made clicking sound when I opened of close the lid. It's very annoying although everything works perfect. is anyone else have the same situation like me?
