If you are after a dual-panel file explorer/Finder for MacOSX, try this software, been using this for a while and absolutely loved it.

  Thanks OP for highlighting a solution I didn’t know existed. I’ve recently had a hackintosh built running Catalina, coming from Sierra I’m not a fan of finder ditching the ‘cover flow’ view mode and replacing it with the useless gallery view. Does pathfinder have something similar to cover flow? As a photographer I used this all the time.

  Used this for years until it started freezing my mac constantly, ended up installing double commander until the problem was fixed but DC was so much better that I never switched back. Best of all, DC is 100% free.

    Thanks, I've been thinking to buy another one for my other machine, but good to know there is an free alternative app
