FYI: Cheaper @ Microsoft…. It's also significantly cheaper when Microsoft runs a further 20% off via the eBay store

Its cheaper on Microsoft eBay for $3299 Razer Blade 15 Advanced i7-9750/RTX2070/16/512 - AU and also not really a good price.

  • It's been cheaper

Wow, Razer charges a premium lol. I'm waiting for the Zephyrus G14 to come back into stock. Slightly slower GPU in the Zephyrus but way better battery life and way more powerful CPU. Also about $1000 cheaper (if it ever comes back into stock).

With the 2070 MaxQ - doesn't that mean performance is subject to throttling for temperature? I would've thought at that price and being Razer, they'd avoid throttling GPU's?

    • +1

MaxQ is designed for thinner profile laptops that just don't have very good cooling.

MaxQ cards restricted to run at a lower power and it cannot be changed either. You can still overclock it, but not really to the same extent as a 'full-phat' variant of the GPU.

these specs are so insanely "not a deal" it's not even funny.

  • Spec is so 2019 at 2020 new gaming laptops price.

I'd expect 10th gen with 2070 super for this price in 2020.

Thanks OP - go easy on a first time poster.
It's a Razer thing with being overpriced to start with.

Gave it a shot. got tanked. savages! haha

      • Lol yeah savage QC - keep em coming!

  • ridiculous pricing. almost 4k and not even 32gb ram. lol.

  • Razer can charge whatever they want for a laptop with these specs and design/size. Whether they're good value or not, people still buy them because they tick a lot of boxes. I see g14 comparisons all the time, but they're not an apples to apples comparison.

I'm all about good value for money, but understand that these sell for the same reason why premium German cars sell.

  • Aftershock Vapour 15X. Save yourself $1k and get something faster while being thinner and lighter
