      You lot have short term memory :) They ran a similar promotion where they were offering Google Pixel XL, $400 visa card and Google home HUB. Essentially if you sold everything the plan cost came down to $12 per month for 100GB data .

      Minimum spend for $65 is $1560, assuming $700 you can cash in for $630, $930/24=$38.75/M on a 80GB plan

      Minimum spend for $35 is $840, cash in $360, $480/24=$20/m on a 30GB plan.

      24m contact sucks, no international calls either

        Last HN Optus deal I took up was Xmas 2018. I got a $400 prepaid VISA card AND a Google Pixel XL handset.

            @scuderiarmani: That is not correct. The Google Pixel was $0 and included in the bundle.
            My point is that the value has deteriorated over the past 1-2 years.

              Phone plans haven't deteriorated. They've improved, more data and inclusions etc etc.

        Honestly.. Update it better. 10c per sms to an Australian number needs to be in the first few lines of the post.

        A link to the CIS is not sufficient. Plans include national sms as standard these days. Optus is downright sneaky here.

    Unfortunately Optus is spotty. I have just ported to circle which is on optus and I can't use it inside my house. Additionally I can't use it in my office. Vodafone and Telstra are fine

    24 months is way too long. plans gets updated so quickly. by 12 months, whatever plan you are locked into is so out of date.

    12 months back 50gb was rare now 100gb so don't lock yourself in 24 months plan. who knows what comes in next 12 months!
