Keep in mind this case requires an SFX PSU

    • wierd how its sfx only. wonder if you could hack in a full size if you dont have any drives.

Unfortunately it looks like the limiting factor is the width of the case at 140mm. ATX form factor has PSUs at 150mm wide, so you wouldn't be able to fit it into the case regardless.

This case is definitely in a weird position - those downsizing from a mid/full tower will likely already have an ATX PSU, and if they have to spend ~$200 to get an SFX PSU they may as well go full SFF with a mini-ITX board as well and get something much smaller than the G3.

        • It may be targeting some one like me, I have an itx build which I use on living room with HTC Vive but I can't move into wireless as you need to have more pcie slot. So I need to get at least matx.

How I wish this was slightly smaller for matx only.

@neolivz: Even for you it doesn't quite work - the case is ATX but only has 2 expansion slots which would be occupied by the GPU.

The other PCIe connections are effectively unable to be used in this case.

The more I look at this case the less it makes sense.

Can take an ATX motherboard, but requires an SFX PSU and has the same support as mini ITX cases for expansion cards.

The case which would fit your needs would be the Sliger Cerberus (significantly smaller at 18L), but it's ridiculously expensive and needs to be shipped from the US.

            • @jeefbeef: I've got the Thermaltake Core W200 and to be honest, if that one is anything to go by, the quality of this line leaves a lot to be desired.

            • @jeefbeef: True that. I did not think about that. So who is it actually targeting? Someone who is building a new system but doesn't want to build an ITX but want to have a thin case?

Giving off server vibes with that front face plate. I'm considering it for a smaller build as I don't want to go tiny on the motherboard.

  • I was looking at this case when trying to get a slim case recently and its one of the only of its kind to be slim and support atx. Its actually a little bit of diamond in the rough. I recall some discussion in reviews about the pci-e riser cable/card being a little iffy though. Might have had something to do with the weight of the card or something.
