Looking for these UK deals has been my hobby this morning.

    • Same but havent found shit yet

      • This Ryzen 9 3900X for $662 delivered is not bad in these trying times.

          *Unprecedented times.

          • @drogba: *Difficult times. 1918 pandemics was a precedent.

            • @lovebargain87: these are now normal times because the world has gone to the dark side.

With yank loonies in control all over the world no chance of stability anymore - only an increasing descent into chaos

              • @petry: Yes because they are the destabiliser in our region… :-/

    • I saw some Amazon Italy ones the other day but they seem to have disappeared now.

  • Oh, that's awesome - great CPU for a pretty good price!

    • It's hard to see why you'd buy this over a 10600 as far as game performance.

      • Depends how often you upgrade i suppose.
If you are gonna upgrade in like 2 years when DDR5 and such comes out, sure no reason to go for this rather than 10600.
But if you plan to keep it for like 3-4 years (or longer which would be highly plausible, given it will still be a solid 50% faster than console CPUs) then this CPU totally makes a whole lot more sense.
10600 has 2 less cores and 4 less threads than the consoles, so will likely end up at similar overall performance to them once they really start using those cores. Whereas this CPU has the same amount of cores and will likely be overclockable to nearly 2ghz faster per core, meaning a massive overall performance lead over console.

If you are buying either you are also buying a likely $200-300 motherboard, maybe even $200 of RAM, what an extra little bit on the CPU? For something that will last you at least a couple years longer.
Buying a full high quality CPU/MOBO/RAM system now if its needed will take one well into the DDR5 era where that is coming down in price but going up in quality.

Well thats just my opinion at least.

    • its a good cpu but similar boat to 3800X you'd never buy one over the 10900k or the 10600k … due to the price vs purpose :)

      • 3800x? what do u mean ?

        • Sorry the AMD 3800X :) it also fell in between 3700X and 3900X … and wasn't compelling for gaming over 3600 so there was no interest. Same issue with the 10700K unless it's price is slashed (like 3800X is from UK Amazon)

          • @scud70: yeh but like so i shouldn't buy the 3800x? im upgrading from a 4 core i5 7600k?

            • @ShotzzAU: for that price yes its worth getting over 3700X :) but if it was normal price no 3600 n 3700 were better value

  • coming up as $593 now, wtf

    • Yep only reason it's listed $601 it's because that's delivery included.

      • Kewl, the i9 10900k is under $900 for anyone interested.

  • Why is this mark as expired

  • Cant get that price….. followed exactly as above (no 'frequently bought together' option showing (yes scrolled all the way to bottom too))
