    If I have a flight coming home from a full-on work day (normally super early flight outbound) having a proper meal and seat is very welcome. I don't do it all the time, plus get the status. Mind you not sure how relevant that is with Virgin these days. shrugs

      Yeah I get that. And if someone else is paying then even more so. But when it comes out of my own pocket, even if it's been a very productive day, I just can't justify $500 for an hour of sitting more comfortably.

    I have booked Business on Syd - BNE and SYD - MEL a number of times,

    The seat is much more comfortable and a lot of times, if you are booking last minute they can be the only seats left.

    If you end up on an A330 you even get a lay flat bed.
