Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 32GB Wi-Fi $319 w Free Delivery @ StudioProper ($303 with OW Price Beat)

Similar to the Scorptec deal. Really is sluggish as a productivity tablet but the size is great for a kiosk application, kids or homeassistant control unit.

Price match with OfficeWorks brings price down as per title.

A slug for sure with 2gb ram.

i'm not sure about that. However what I am sure about is that android tablets are a dead end given most of the development on them has stagnated.

      There's a reason why you can buy a 4gb 64gb phone for less than a 2gb 32gb tablet.

There seems to be low demand for tablets so that affects everything.

      • no, im sure, it's sluggish just chrome/firefox browsing. However for pure media consumption it's awesome.

Sales were down last year for tablets, but apparently the covid situation has had sales increase again. Some people just prefer Android over Apple. Unfortunately, Australia gets a lot of shitty tablets while they are sold with better specs in the rest of the world.

  • At $199 from the ebay deals was kinda okay, $319 would be overpriced, the tab is good to watch videos or read but even web browsing is slow

  • loved my a30 which I got from the prime day under $200 for a back up phone, thought it would be crappy but it wasn't, just a little slower than my note10 plus, then had high expectation from Sammy and went ahead got myself a tab A 8inch which is awfully slow and laggy, for this one, at that price tag, I would definitely go for lenovo yogo tab which is costing about 368 at TGG commercial.

  • This is currently $296 from the Samsung EPP stores, so if you have that option it's a better price.

    • Better price: yes?
Should you buy as a uni student or school goer? Probably not

      • Can't say how useful this would be for a uni student, but i bought it for a young child and it fits the bill nicely.

I paid $230 though, which is more on par with what I wanted to pay.

Got one back when they were around $200, perfect for my 5 year old and general web browsing. Not worth 300 imo

  • $300 does seem a bit pricey for this tablet. I bought one for my mum last year who often gives it to my niece. It's serviceable for light gaming or youtubing. No real issue with lag or stutter if that's all your using it for.

  • So would this be any good for watching Netflix on or would it lag? Any other options around the $300 mark would be appreciated. Thanks

    • Netflix is fine. The screen is pretty decent so it looks good.

  • I think its $239 at Big W

Edit: its the 8 inch model which is $239.

  • Check this firm out on Product Review,Trust Pilot, etc before even thinking about purchasing from them.
