Standard Apple process, it's the midpoint between models of the Air and coincides with the release of a new phone. Bit of an extra incentive for people who are upgrading their phones to think "maybe I should get a new tablet while I'm at it"

Faster but iPad OS is very far from being MacOS. If you don’t mind only using AppStore apps, the iPad might work for you.

All the power in the M4 but stuck in an ipad. Better off with a macbook air IMO
