    So did tpg buy Vodafone? I don’t understand how they can merge as TPG is listed and Vodafone too in the UK.

      Different ownership but they’ll continue to use the brand name - much like Virgin Australia

      Effective 29 June 2020, Vodafone Hutchison Australia Pty Limited will be renamed TPG Telecom Limited (ABN 76 096 304 620). From this date, any references on this website to Vodafone Hutchison Australia Pty Limited should be read as TPG Telecom Limited.

    It will be interesting seeing what kind of pricing structure they will come up with to compete with Telstra and Vodafone. But right now, not much to see

    No thanks. TPG is a nightmare in customer service. Looks like I'm stuck with Telstra from now on. Optus is a similar nicer nightmare in general in terms of no signal in two areas important to me and multiple screwups.
