Quick glance at recently sold eBay sales shows prices $370-400 average for second hand 500gb consoles
where'd you sell it for that? I'm tempted to sell my PS4 Pro. Only a few months old and probably used it twice.. did a 1TB Samsung SSD upgrade when I first got it too, so the stock hard drive has seen very little use.
I can't help but notice that the PS4 is still quite expensive to buy considering the PS5 is not that far off from being unleashed to the expecting public.
Why is that?
Imagine it is due to shortages due to lockdown. And some highly anticipated exclusives such as The Last of Us Part II (highest selling game on PS4 in only 3 days) and Ghost of Tsushima

Agreed - trying to explain to my mate why he was hardstuck in Sekiro (and I couldn't help) after finishing the game on PC, led to many bertstares on his part while I tried to explain that the ps4 is not really up to stable framerates in modern AAA games. We almost got into "30fps is all the eye can see" territory. Saved the friendship, barely.

The pros are selling out real fast, don't even last a week in Amazon, 5 days since stock came in and today they're sold out!
eBay has them for ~$650, with ~11% going to eBay & minus postage ~$18.50+, the flipping margin is horrible and that's without insurance and good packaging.
Using an Amazon box and bubble packaging pushes it to ~$40-$50 shipped with insurance (66x41x20cm costs $46.55 @5kg), the margin is horrible vs risk?
