I was looking for a gaming mouse under $100 and found this mouse which looks pretty cool. German designed and engineered as its claimed. Pricehipster shows $110.95 so I thought it is a bargain from Amazon

I had to click on the link to see what a "ROCCAT Kone AIMO " was.

I've had a ROCCAT Kone XTD and the rubbery coating went really tacky . The actual switches and wheel have a great action and really feel like they are of great quality .
Also of note is that this looks to be of a similar size , so it's rather large .

build quality is very good. had my kone xtd for 5 years now still works well

  • If anyone is looking for a sub $100 gaming mouse I recommend the Razer Viper. It’s on sale now for $89 at various places amazon/centrecom/ebay

  • It looks cool brand new, but when it picks up a bit of grime, then it'll look really ugly.

Keyboards & mice are usually black for a reason … to make the grime less visually obvious.

    • So you choose to not clean your devices? Either way if you get white or black products it's going to have the same amount of build up on them. Wouldn't you just clean it anyway no matter what colour you have for cleanliness? I've got white Corsair mouse and keyboard, probably give it a wipe around every couple months. Even then I wouldn't say it looks dirty at all.

Own the original version of this mouse and am decently happy with how it has held up for the last 2 years and a bit I've had it (Payed $98 for it in 2018). The mouse is on the larger side and took some time to grow accustomed to, but now it's great. I use the Easy-Shift function all the time to adjust volume and skip Spotify songs all the time (Easy-shift acts like a shift key on your mouse that allows you to switch between profiles. e.g. While pressing the easy-shift button I can use the scroll wheel to adjust volume and tilt to skip. Can tailor it to your liking)

From the looks of it, they're made the thumb rest area widder on the remastered version which is something I've noticed is a bit narrow on the older model. Wonder how much the new coating feels compared to the old.

Would I buy this mouse again? Hell yes.

  • Still $73.29 via Amazon US if anyone is keen to grab
