This is the newer 2020 model. Lowest price elsewhere is $845. Delivery was showing $35 for me, but I opted for free pick-up.

There is also the 50'' version for $592.

          Yeah, nah. Don't get me wrong, these are good value for money but they're never going to stand up to an OLED side by side nor would you expect them to.

          Like everything else, just gotta weigh up what certain features/quality are worth to you and buy accordingly.

            I have a problem with the way these things are advertised

            I guess it's legal but I thought this site was about getting the best for your buck

            These TV's aren't it

            I guess if you do get a cheapie, it makes a proper upgrade an amazing experience

            When I went from a 20 something inch teac to a Sony trinitron with tekken 3 in ntsc at 60fps

      No. not in thegoodguyscommercial.com.au .
      What I did was, went to the good guys store and showed them the price and they matched it. and then paid in-store with the gift card.
      Got the Hisense 55S8 for $820 (with gift card discount, $779). Haven't picked it up yet. Hopefully this weekend.
