      • Hm, I ordered one on Monday and also sent them an email a few days ago enquiring with no response or update on my order - wonder if it's on backlog too.

        • Same here, ordered on the 20/7 and my order status is still "being processed". Sent them an email via their online form but yet to receive a response

          • @iceshadow: In the same situation. Bought 10am Monday 20 July still waiting on anything further. Also sent them an email on Thursday asking for an update but nothing.

      • Same here - no email, but no dispatch of the product….waiting on them to reply to an email asking when its being shipped from several days ago.

        • Just spoke to them on the phone.
Advised they had issues with stock and not expected to come in until 13 August, however I could either opt for a blue or pink one (as per other deals and with travel case), wait until the 13th or they could issue me with a refund. Chose to go for the blue which will be express posted to later today.

          • @Heybargain: Thanks for the update - I was hoping they'd automatically hold my order until August but I just called to make sure and the rep said she'd put a note on my order to have it express posted when it comes back in stock.

@kicha: Interesting… I called them earlier today and they weren't able to give me any information as the lady organising the dispatch of this particular item wasn't working until tomorrow. Thanks for the update guys!

            • @kicha: Nabbed the last one at Aldi so I’ll be calling Shaver Shop on Monday to cancel. Hopefully you aren’t waiting much longer!

              • +1

@ufwpd: I'm in no rush so I'm happy to wait another few weeks, as long as they do actually fulfill it. Glad you managed to get one!

  • thanks OP. this pro 2 2000 is really good compared to vitality.

  • Is this top of the range oral B brush?

    • No. You are looking at the oral b genius 9000 or the oral B ai.

  • OOS

  • Just bought after not finding one at Aldi. It’s working again.

    • I had to ask staff as I couldn't find it in the special buys area. They were kept behind the counter

      • There was some Braun things in a cabinet. I thought they would have been in there but were not. Just went back and they had them in another cabinet. Might return the shavershop one or gift it as a present.

  • Got one. Cheers

  • How are these one compare to those cheap $30 Oral-b Vitality Precision in coles and woolies? Never use any of those expensive one before.

  • OOS - again!

  • Back in stock maybe only 1

mine was sent…. BUT FROM VICTORIA…. will quarantine the package for a week before I get to use it.

    • Post is saying expired. Are the best prices are still available from here?

Edit: All good, just saw your edit :P

Successfully price matched at DJs using Aldi price$69.9 + $10 DJs welcome voucher = $59.9

    Has anyone received theirs yet?

    • +1

      Not me.

  • For those trying electric for the first time, you might find the action of the head on your teeth a bit much. It is worth persevering, and an option is to buy a 2-pack of the 'Sensitive' heads - they're much like the normal ones, just a bit softer and you may find it a little easier getting started.

    more back in stock now

    • +1

Then hopefully they will start shipping them, or at least take the time to reply to my inquiries regarding order status.

      • Might be worth giving them a call if you can, they never replied to my emails either and I just ended up calling them.

        • Good idea. Knowing there is stock again, perhaps I'll wait a couple of days before I waste my time during work hours.

          • @norkle: I placed my order at 10 am and it got shipped at 3 pm ( yesterday )

            • +2

@NotaSpender: Oh wow, that shocks me. They are sending out new orders, but not fulfilling their existing ones from over a week ago?

              • @norkle: Logged into shavershop.com.au and almost had a conniption - no orders on file.

Turns out I had to login with the order details - order#/email/postcode - and it showed up.

Will now have to chase them on Monday. How pathetic.

                • @norkle: I just called them and they said they got stock over the weekend and they'll be processing all the backorders in the next few days, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon. We'll supposedly get an email with tracking number then

    • Ordered 2 and confirmed Thanks

  • +4

    Nice, travel bag.

Or if you're Victorian, just a bag.

  • +1

Mine still hasn't shipped and I ordered on the 20th of July…

    • Same

    • I just called them and they said they got stock over the weekend and they'll be processing all the backorders in the next few days, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon. We'll supposedly get an email with tracking number then

      • Thanks for taking the time to report here, saves all of us some time.

Anyone know where they are shipping from? Victoria?

        • No worries. I'm not sure unfortunately, maybe someone whose item has shipped could see in their tracking info

        • I ordered mine on the 8th of Aug and received today ( shipped from Liverpool NSW ), if that helps

          • +1

@NotaSpender: @notaspender Many thanks, appreciate the update on where yours was shipped from. So hopefully they are not stuck in Victorian lockdown.

      • +1

Update as a courtesy to those who ordered early and have been waiting (like me).

tl;dr: fulfillment is different for each order, so info from any one person about shipping may not give much indication to others; but there is stock in the pipeline.

From what I can tell (based on calling ShaverShop), the orders are sent to individual franchises, and the orders are fulfilled from there.

My order is now showing as shipped in the shavershop.com.au account area, with tracking number, with delivery between Friday this week and Tuesday next (I'm in Newcastle).

In my instance, my order should've been coming from the Chatswood franchise, but in fact it is shipping from Qld. So possibly there is something screwy going on for my order (it's ok, I know that can happen), OR Chatswood didn't have the stock so had another franchise ship for them.

        • Thanks for the update. When I called last time they did mention something about stock being back in stores and I was a little confused about why they mentioned it (I'd assumed they had a warehouse for fulfilling online orders), but that makes sense now. I checked out as a guest so I can't check the status of my order; if I don't get a tracking number in the next day or so I'll just chase up… again.

Glad yours has shipped though, what a saga.

          • @kicha: Actually you can check the status of your order - at the Account / Login page scroll DOWN - you can enter order#/email/postcode and check your status that way - it is what I had to do.

            • @norkle: Awesome, thanks for the heads up. Seems like mine is still processing.

    • Finally got mine on the 13th…that took a while

      • I got one of mine yesterday, another one coming next week.

Didn't receive a tracking email, but the online account info was updated with tracking number.

        • I'm still waiting. It's been a rubbish experience. No updated order status via their website, no proactive email correspondence letting customers they have run out of stock. I have called and emailed (reply to some, no reply to others) — finally got an updated ETA but they have failed to meet that.

Judging by other comments here, if I ordered a new one today I'd probably get it before the July 20 order.

When did you place the order for your second one?

          • @lmw: Mine just arrived today after I called twice earlier this week - it was shipped here to VIC from some stores in NSW. On the second call they told me it had shipped out and they emailed me the tracking number, but even now the order status on mine still says "being procesesd".

          • @lmw: Well, this isn't OzService.

Hang in there, I think it looks messy, because SS get stock in their warehouse, then they ship it to stores/franchisees, and then they fulfill the online orders. And freight is pretty messed up atm, esp. because of Covid restrictions in Vic.

A long time Philip Sonicare user here - have used from cheap to expensive sonicare products, and all of them are good basic function wide.

I once bought a cheap Oral-B 100 for $35 from woolworths and oh what a terrible toothbrush.
That stiff uncomfortable little round toothbrush head is a nightmare.

I cannot speak for Ora-B's high end's product and its low end product is far worse that its Sonicare cheap comparables.

The bad taste has put me off to try any high end Oral-b product. I'm sticking with the Sonicare.

    • Oral B has soft-brush option. But they tend to include some fancy brush options in the package. I always bought "soft" as replacement brush.

    • I was so glad to have my Sonicare die - back to Oral B for me!

  • Nice! Love my Pro 700 :D

  • Thanks mate. Hopefully it will be shipped soon.

ordered one for the missus as a spare when her old one breaks down :)

  • I won't be shopping at Shaver Shop again. Like many others, purchased on July 20 — still has not shipped.

    • Shoot them an email, they should ship it from a store that has stock straight away.

  • I've been without an electric toothbrush for months now but have been stubborn in its replacement. This deal was the kick in the bum I needed - thanks grabbed a couple :)

  • Travel case

Immediately I feel sad and triggered on behalf of all Victorians.

  • is nto more cheap get only the toothbrush from here? http://www.statewideservices.com.au/replacement-parts/braun-…

  • Are these much better than the Orab-B basic range electric brushes which are far cheaper?

    • This one is a massive step up from vitality. A lot of comparison in the previous comments.

Each of the points I've listed out in description you don't usually get in lower models or only 1 or 2 of them.

    • Yes. The vibration speed and pressure sensor are important. The heads (common to all) do the rest.

  • I bought mine for $69 back in March and have been happy with it, but pretty debatable whether it's worth $50 more than the base Vitality model, the both do the job well…

  • Bought and shipped same day 👍

  • Checked my emails and found no updates from Shaver Shop, since the original tax invoice was sent on 20th July.

Surprised they've not sent any correspondence about the order.

    Have sent a follow-up email.

    • Good luck with the email. I think I'm going to have to ring.

      • Looks like they aren't bothering to respond to their emails. Still no response after over a week, so picked up the phone and they explained that mine was sent from South Australia on the 11th and is now in NSW due to the Victorian delays.

They said there was plenty of emails sent, but have checked my junk email regularly (as well) and never received any sort of correspondence since the first email.

Anyway looks like it's on the way and now stuck in Aus Post limbo.

        • +1

Agreed, email was a total wash.

They were good on the phone, and followed up. My two arrived last Friday and Monday.

Good prices, good people, they'd be better turning the email off, and a crazy distribution network.

          • @norkle: Yeah agreed they were good on the phone. If not for the Victorian lockdown I guess their crazy distribution network would have come through.

I was just unfortunate they allocated my delivery 3 weeks later from SA instead of allocating it to a VIC store.

  • Ordered one thanks OP for this deal!

  • Ordered mine on Sunday, got it today. Not bad.

  • thank you. i ordered mine on Monday and got it today too. Super quick!

  • Blyat. I accidently ordered the blue one. same price, but without travel case I believe.

  • Just recieved mine this morning.

Its a bit weird. No seal on the box. And no plastic for the toothbrush.

Is it supposed to be like this?

    • It should have come with a sealed toothbrush tip inside the package.

  • Back in stock on Amazon @$79.50.
