does this one make the buzzing noise like the single port when it doesn't have a device plugged into it?

    • +1 vote

      Mine doesn't

    •

Yep - my current one started doing the buzzing thing, it was annoying and I replaced it.

      •

excellent, I'll submit a warranty claim. probably will take them 6 months to sort it out?

    •

I've had 1 plugged in next to my bed for +12mths & no buzz, had the white version also (gave to Mum) & also quiet as a mouse..

Could depend on the quality of your mains supply i suppose - ie. Voltage low or high etc..

  •

Does this mean we'd be getting an old model?

"Note: This model has been updated to the latest version 18W. Oversea warehouses is still in stock with the older version. China warehouses has now been updated stocking with the newest version."

    • +2 votes

      AU warehouse is new version.

      •

        Thank you, ordered :)

    •

I think the old version of the BW-S6 had a max charge of 30W when using both ports. The new one maxes out at 15w when both ports are used. Haven't been able to find the old one anywhere.

  •

After initially thinking that Touch Id on my iPad was on the blink, I have discovered that this particular adapter is the culprit. Touch Id doesn't work when I've got the iPad attached to this one.

All other adapters, including a different Blitzwolf kind, causes no such issues.

    •

Really strange! I also have some touchscreen issues at times when my phone is on charge. Android. The screen feels much less responsive. eg. when you scroll on the screen, it doesn't keep scrolling with momentum.

  •

Thanks, bought three as from past experience these are very popular with the in-laws

Still waiting on my last order of two chargers…. apparently local stock. -_-

  • +7 votes

Still waiting on my QC/PD charger from the 9th. I guess it's not too late yet, expected delivery was the 20th.

    • +6 votes

Same, it says it was shipped over a week ago from Sydney and I am in the same state and haven't gotten anything.

    • +1 vote

Same. I wonder what is the issue, quite few people have now mentioned they haven't received theirs yet.
What is weird is I ordered something from the CN warehouse the same day, and its arrived, but not the one from the AU warehouse??

      • +1 vote

@whitcut thats interesting. The 2 posters above should update us when it finally arrives as to where the item was actually sent from. If its come internationally there should be something on the box to indicate that

        • +1 vote

It came today. Didn't look international.

    • +2 votes

Same here, it has been sitting at the "sortation facility" in sydney since the 10th.

  • +1 vote

    Hey Op,

Any discounts on the one having type c port as well ?

    • +1 vote

Looks like the BW-S14 is going for around A$17~

      • -2 votes

Shame it's only 1 USBC. USBA needs to die. It's pointless now that almost all devices are C.

        • +1 vote

There are plenty of widgets that still use Micro-B. Wired headphones, wifi cameras, selfie sticks, drain snakes, AAA battery chargers, budget tabs, etc. Using USB 3.0 to power these types of widgets would be overkill.

        • +3 votes

"It's pointless now that almost all devices are C."

          No.

  •

Is this standard charging port or power3s? (for the adaptor)

  •

How is this version better than the previous version that did 30W total?

    This : https://www.blitzwolf.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S6-QC3.0+2.4A-30W-Dua...
    Previous : https://www.blitzwolf.com/30W-AU-2-Ports-USB-Charger-p-120.h...

    • +1 vote

Looks like both versions are 30w total. The previous model was 18w+12w. This model has QC3.0 in both ports so rated at 18w each but max out at 15w (i.e. 30w total) when used simultaneously.

      •

        Thanks for the explanation!

  •

awesome thank you ! ordered and liked !

  •

Any one has thoughts on this from Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000958576466.html

    •

by the time you add Freight it is more dearer than this one.

      •

More expensive or dearer, never more dearer.

        • +1 vote

          Looks more dearer to me.

      •

Worth it for an extra $1.10

Still waiting for my BlitzWolf BW-S14 18W from here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/550631

Not convinced they are AU warehoused.

  •

OP, do you have a deal on the same charger but EU plug?

  • +1 vote

Thanks Rep, Bought one, I am long time fan of BlitzWolf brand. always had good product life and quality output. cheers.

  •

    Power 18W USB QC3.0 Port: 18W

    $12.80 us for me

Have the previous 30W charger version and 10k powerbank (with 3X18650 not the polymer cell) since 2017. Still going strong. built quality is uncompromised. I would buy from BW again.

  •

thanks op bought 1 and 1 and I dont know why

  •

    Thanks OP. Bought the charger

  •

    Is this Charger any good?

Are you going to cancel my order again because you don't have stock?

  •

    NVM: found it

  • +5 votes

Store rep seems to be quiet on the shipping delays with prior orders whilst quickly responding re an EU plug.

Caveat emptor from a delivery/shipping perspective.

    •

The problem with shipping atm seems to be fastway.

      • +1 vote

Fastway? Say no more.. I honestly have no idea why companies still use them - all it takes is one Google search to know they're no good.

      • +1 vote

fastway said it hasnt been scanned in their system yet, while banggood tell me it has been shipped for 10 days.
who knows which crook to believe

        •

I recently bought an item from Amazon.au. I placed my order on Wednesday 2pm Perth time and I received my parcel on Friday at 11:52pm via Fastway courier (new name is Aramex). I did not pay extra for expedite shipping and my parcel weighs over 15kg coming from Melbourne. It was the fastest delivery I have ever experienced.

I did not have any good experience with Banggood in the past and I can see that they have not improved.
I bought this charger yesterday so if there is any problem I will contact Paypal for a refund.

          •

@he88388: Ironically i was going to say i had the exact same problem with a fastway delivery form amazon, over a week.

  •

    It shows $AU18.88 for me..

    •

      Use this code:BGBWAUS6

  •

OP - I'm looking for QC/PD power adapter, but definitely want AU plug (not adapter). Are S6 and S9 both AU plug and not adapter?

    •

Also, if I try to apply code BGBWAUP9 to powerbank, price is US$13.99 plus 0.28c shipping insurance BEFORE coupon, and US$13.99 including shipping insurance AFTER coupon, not the US$13.59 indicated in this post - is there a problem with the coupon, or am I doing something wrong?

      •

Enter the coupon code, and then cancel the shipping insurance.

        •

          Thanks, that worked.

Also, thanks for your OB message, will order the S14. EDIT: price shows US$22.99 instead of US$16.99?

  •

Rep, I placed an order tonight to replace one of my blitzwolf products,
there was an error with the address, I immediately contacted support and they were so bad that I ended up cancelling the whole order,
shouldn't updating an address be the first thing you learn in customer support?

  •

Just as a bit of a contrast to the shipping delays above, I've just had a really good experience with Banggood's AU warehouse. Ordered a BW-S9 charger on Saturday, it shipped Monday and arrived on the Mid North Coast of NSW today (Thursday).

Because I'm an Ozbargainer, I must now order another charger because it's cheap and Blitzwolf chargers are excellent. I was confused for a while until I worked out that applying the coupon pushes the item price up (to $20.99 US in this instance) but lowers the grand total (which I needed to scroll down to see) to the correct discounted price.

  •

How's the plug ? Do I need an adaptor ?

  • -2 votes

Be careful they will not ship from AU warehouse, they ship from China. Wait till you don’t receive your order and they’ll change it in their description like the recent Wowstick deal.

Capturing description as of 24th July “ Ship from AU warehouse, one week delivery.”.

  •

Why the drop from the original 30W to 18W?

  •

The powerbank is showing up at AU$19.67 before I input the code, which is cheaper than OP's discounted price. Anyone else seeing that?

    •

I'm seeing A$19.97 before code. If you are using A$ on the website, the price may fluctuate with A$/US$ rates as the base price is US$.

      •

Ah OK… When I go to my cart, & input the code, it reckons it's taking ~$18 off, but it's still $39.95 for 2. Would the +$0.45 on the deal be exchange-rate-related too, you reckon?
