  • How do you get the $50? I can't see the sign up?

      • +4

Be careful, the popup must be on the education Portal. If you sign up with normal Samsung store, the coupon won't work.

I don't believe the sign-up address must be the same as the account address; I have been able to use the $50 discount twice on the same account; once to get a galaxy active watch (1st Gen) for $215, once a 32" UHD monitor for $425.

        • How do you ensure its on the edu portal?

        • +1

The $50 sign up has been suspended

      • Still valid?

Discount off eligible purchases equal to or greater than $200 on the Samsung Online Store (shop.samsung.com/au) from 9.00am (AEST) on 19 November 2019 to 11.59pm (AEDT) on 19 July 2020 (unless withdrawn earlier)

Where can i get free edu.au email account?

    • +3

Not such thing as free education unless you’ve friends with benefit.

  • Also same price on Australian Government Employee Samsung Store.

    • Healthcare Portal too.

    • Any ideas if state government employees have these partnerships?

      • +5

yep they do mate…just register with your .gov.au email address on the Samsung store and enjoy a $50 sign up discount and further discounted prices on most Samsung products. Atleast they are not made in #China.

pixel is probably a smarter choice over galaxy flagship these days.

i think ill wait another year with the n8

          • @abuch47: I am also considering that option after back n forth between pixel and galaxy

  • How do you get access to the healthcare portal? My partner is a nurse and needs a new phone.

    • +1

My S10+ has been rock solid. It's the S10 Exynos that was bad

  • -3

    Too bad, single sim

  • The newsletter signup for the $50 off is not coming up for me.

Anyone has a code they are not using?

    Edit - it ended 19th July 2020

    • Yes, you had to sign up before the 19th July but I was still able to use it today.

      • Nope, I sign up 2 weeks ago, $50 code no longer working.
        Code start with NA3-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

        • I definitely used mine this morning…the only thing I can think of was that mine was already 'applied' in my cart (I had applied it some time ago) so it just kept it there….

  • S10 and A51 how much please?

    • A51 $509, the S10 not coming up on the Govt EPP site….but S10+ $844

  • Note10 was on sale at similar price range before even on JBHIFI, but not the 10+

  • From what I understand the Samsung Government store is technically only for Federal Government employees. But the website only looks at the last part of the email address to make sure it contains .gov.au, I've used it before with a @vic.gov.au address and I know someone who used it with a @sa.gov.au address and it worked.

Not sure if this still works though, worth a shot.

To be honest the price isn't very attractive for a near two gen old phone at 128GB. But each to their own.

    • It was cheaper a few months ago. I got one in April I think for about 780.

      • Where from?

  • Maybe wait for Note 20 is better as these phones are all still close to $1000 after almost a year launch.

  • +1

Was hoping they had also reduced the price for CRG50 but it actually went up $10.

  • +1

why not wait until note 20 comes out very soon. the price should go even lower.

    • Stock may well be an issue, Note 10 is sold out at a lot of places…

Microsoft had the model at $700ish when stacked with a zippay or after pay promo a few weeks ago, annoyed I missed out on that. They had the Note 10+ for under $1000 at the same time.

  • Is this a good price for a brand new s10+? Reckon it will get any lower with the launch of the note 20?

  • +2

the s10+ is a solid phone, but i'm surprised it's still $844? i bought it from the epp store for the wifey over a year ago for $974, why hasn't the s20 range moved down to that price point?

    • +1

I bought it around same time for 850ish also using the $150 off $1000 spend offer at govt store at that time.
Just added a case to make it $1000+ and vollah! Jackpot.

Strange to see it's similarly priced even after 1 year.

  • +4

Still waiting on price for A71 to drop back to sub $500… maybe after the launch of the Galaxy Note 20 and other phones on Aug 6.

    • A71 still 599 on Samsung Education portal

  • Looking for a new phone preferably focusing on the camera quality as that's all I really care about.
Any suggestions? wait for s20 ultra to be discounted again? get something else entirely?

  • +1

I bought the LG V50 ThinkQ 5G with SDM 855 for $599 in April. Received the Android 10 update last month

I am very happy with the phone despite all the LG bashing going around as its real value for money

"Thank you for subscribing to receive marketing communications from Samsung Australia. You will shortly receive a promotion code to redeem $50 off when you spend $250 or more in one transaction from your Samsung Enhanced Partnership Portal."

    • I thought that promotion was only valid until the 19th of July?

  • +4

Wasn't S20 around the same price at EPP couple of weeks back? This is too much for S10 now.

  • it seems the promo code for $50 off still works on the normal store. does not work for me on the employee store. galaxy watch active 2 is therefore cheaper on the normal store if using the code.

  • What’s their policy to return? Like Apple you get money back if you don’t like? I am an Apple user and considering a change. Thanks.

  • bought S20 for $849 last month from Samsung EPP store. so not sure if this a gd deal for s10+

  • Is the Note 10 + 256g on sale through the EPP. What's that going for now? Surely with the new notes coming out soon Samsung must trying to get rid of stock

  • I used a 50 voucher on the s10e a few months back on my education email. Does anyone have a code I could use on the s10+? If they're transferable of course!

    • I heard you just need to any email address to get a new code.

      • Really? I havent received one. Hopefully it comes through!
